I've seen this enough times that I laughed without watching it. Funny stuff.

I mean, technically the celery had some practical uses. It helped to revive Peri after she came down with spectrox toxaemia, and its main purpose was to detect praxis gases (to which the Doctor was allergic, and with cause the celery to turn purple).

I quite like 4get, but SearXNG is probably closer to what you want.

Since you're using Edge, I'll assume you're running Windows. In that case, I'd recommend either Librewolf or ungoogled-chromium.
I, myself, use Mullvad Browser and Links2, but they're not quite as good for new users.

Okay, that's scary. I'm not a target by many stretches, but this is pretty serious.
For anyone who (unlike me, who hasn't started yet) has completed some kind of qualification in cybersecurity: would it be better to use Faraday rooms/cages, or to revert to pen and paper (with old-fashioned cryptography, if necessary)?

It might not actually be that bad, but I rarely like change. In my opinion, all software should have a sort of legacy UI mode.
EDIT: You don't have to listen to my opinion.

I [18NB] am starting uni in Edinburgh, Scotland tomorrow. Since I'll be living a good distance away from home, I was thinking of buying some pride merch and stuff. However, it has crossed my mind that safety could be an issue. I wouldn't have thought that Edinburgh would have issues, but I think it's best to ask Lemmy: **On the whole, is Edinburgh a safe place to be myself?**

Maybe? I'd say that sounds more like aceflux. Graysexuality tends to be very infrequent or weak attraction.
Of course, it's your choice what label you use (if any at all). There can be a lot of overlap between different identities.
hellfire103 2 weeks ago • 100%
Graysexual (or greysexual) is essentially where a person falls somewhere between asexual and allosexual. This is, generally speaking, where somebody experiences sexual attraction but only very weakly or infrequently.

We have a word for that: abrosexual.
Here's the flag:
As you can imagine, our main in-jokes are watermelons and indecisiveness.
There's also a subreddit at r/abrosexual, and a community at !abrosexual@lemmy.ca (although the latter isn't very active).

"Know" is a stretch. Plants respond to attack by releasing chemicals (e.g. nettles and grasses), curling or retracting their leaves (e.g. acacia), or by changing their morphology (e.g. holly); but they have no nervous system - let alone a brain - so it's not like you're killing an animal.

I essentially gaslight myself into thinking I'm finding the activity fun. I also find that music helps, as does finding a rhythm in the activity.
Of course, I'm generally fine with long tasks anyway, so your mileage may vary.

Hey, all. I just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, and I would like to install a custom Android ROM on it. After a bit of research, my two options are LineageOS and Murena (aka /e/OS). Does one have any advantages over the other? Or is it simply a matter of preference? UPDATE: **You will need a machine running Windows 10 or higher in order to successfully flash either ROM!**
