Sorry to ask, why're you equalizing temperature?
i feel the AC goes on when it's hot or warm and the blast furnace goes on when it's cold, is there a particular advantage as to why you're doing it this way?

i've never had this issue, my only gripe is that I set my system font to Jetbrains Mono using gnome tweaks which conflicts with Wezterm as it's default font is also Jetbrains Mono

and change the password to something from correcthorsebatterystaple.net.
i wonder how secure or private it is to use a password generated online. You should use a password manger instead. They have built-in password generators

everyone keeps mentioning Pixel Devices, but I'd personally never use one for the same reason I won't wear branded clothes
you should check out OnePlus devices, the bootloaders are easily unlocked and they've major LineageOS support, the phones also have a high quality build, if you like the form of your XR, definitely check out the OnePlus 8/8 pro or 9/9 pro
another option is if you can get any of the Samsung S10 models with an exynos chip, they also have strong build and are supported by lineageOS as well

Ok, I'l look into those games, I know I have to put in practice but getting started is somehow uncomfortable, that's why I'm looking for tips to improve the experience
the limited time I spend in front of my desktop, I'm preoccupied with learning other stuff, practicing this alongside makes me slower
thanks for your reply though

Thanks for your reply, my high school equivalent never had such, our computer classes were spent in front of barely functional monitors with MS word open as we learnt the "CTRL +" commands while never as much as touching the keyboards
thanks for your support

you're like the 4th person (American I guess) to blame Russian troll farms for the hatred coming out of America these days, absolving yourself from the actions of your fellow countrymen is understandable but pinning it to a foreign nation state is another
has'nt it always been American to hate and put down anyone who isn't white, straight and christian?

Good day to everyone except to the neo-liberals always btching about .ml being a communist instance, we don't care about your opinions Moving on, I got my first computer about two years ago and typing has been a pain, last year I read a post online about touch typing and I've been trying to do that ever since but switching from my "hunt and peck" method is quite difficult. Changing hand forms and trying to return my hands to the home format has always made me given up on touch typing. I now have a lot of typing and note-taking to do and I'm trying to learn this, so I'm looking for tips and advices on how to make this easier thanks in advance, pals also, if you're on linux and want to try this out, there's this native app I'm using [Klavaro](https://klavaro.sourceforge.io/en/). It is also available as a Flatpak

people pay for a search engine, they would subscribe for a browser if it does what they want
if Mozilla bundles a private, secure and well packaged browser with a good search engine and this browser performs well while still providing the current version for free, there's a certain minority who would be compelled to pay for it
atm, a browser and search engine is the major gateway to the internet, google has always done that at the cost of the user being a product, but it is now fucking that up and an alternative is needed, Mozilla could and should step in for that

This is something, a fact against that watery mess
Hi everyone, i would like to know what makes you stand out from your immediate environment. It could be something physical or a feature that qualifies you. I'll go first, i have quite large feet from years of moving around barefooted and while growing up, i had to have shoes custom made as most of the good ones were made in general sizes only, i still have trouble getting shoes.
Hello everyone, I came across this sublemming/com today, I saw it had no post yet and decided to do the honour of opening the /c/ to topics. I've been running ArchLinux on my former laptop for close to a year now and then got a new one and decided to put NixOS on it. First off, it was intimidating as almost everything I read online about NixOS was either about the Nix language, Flakes, Options, reproducibility and every other peculiar stuff about the Distro. Right now, I'm settled in and really enjoying it. Now, I'd like to know any tips, tricks or settings I could do to my install that'd make it a better development environment, I use the Gnome DE and all suggestions are welcome. Also, I'd be replacing the ArchLinux on my former laptop with OpenSuse Tumbleweed, opinions about that are also welcome. If you're new to Linux, take your time with it, try out as many distros as you can and if you need any help, you can mention me or check in the general [!Linux /c/](https://lemmy.ml/c/linux), you'll surely find all the help you want. Remember, with FOSS software, you're in control of all your information.
