> Researchers at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, have discovered that T cells can be genetically modified to target and eliminate senescent cells, which contribute to aging and related diseases. Their findings in mice show that a single treatment with CAR T cells can lead to improved health outcomes, including reduced body weight and enhanced metabolism, with the potential for lifelong benefits.

In Mazatlan, Mexico, a beach in the mexican northern pacific, when it's rainy, we eat a sort of thin pancakes, a bit thicker than a crepe, called kekis, a short term for pancakes, that instead of being presented as a normal pancake, they are rolled like a burrito. We put some honey, maple syrup, or plenty of sugar on top.
> Project to develop a blood-based test to identify patients with early pancreatic cancer receives PanKind funding boost. The test is based on a critical WEHI discovery of proteins that can identify early pancreatic cancer in patients. Currently, there are no early-detection biomarkers for the disease. Researchers hope the test could, in the future, be used by general practitioners and oncologists as a tool for early intervention to enable more effective treatment options for patients.

> While we're not suggesting the lidocaine could cure cancer, we're galvanized by the possibility that it could get an edge on head and neck cancer treatment and move the dial forward, in terms of improving treatment options for patients with this challenging form of cancer," said Ryan Carey, an assistant professor an co-lead author of the study.
*Have you ever wondered why some people never became sick from COVID-19? A study published recently in the journal Nature shows that common genetic variation among people is responsible for mediating SARS-CoV-2 asymptomatic infection. The results indicate that individuals having this variant never feel sick once infected.*

*A mysterious woman's escape from her harrowing captivity points investigators toward the dark truth behind an unsolved disappearance 13 years earlier.* This is a German tv show for Netflix. If you don't mind subtitles, this is a must watch if you like the *kidnapped for years* genre. It's a slow paced show, but I just couldn't stop watching. Only 6 episodes.

Well, being myself Mexican, and this incident happening in Mexico, we as a country and as population are totally uneducated in wild life matters, so I can almost assure you that this type of incidents surely happen quite frequently, so that's why I think the bear is so chill eating besides humans.
I mean, it's a hungry cub, but oh boy did they got lucky. The bear even sniffs at boy's head. Father is happily filming the whole scene. This happened a few days ago at Chipinque park in Monterrey Mexico.

> this paper has some limitations. For one, it only reports on two of the 12 patients who received treatment earliest in the study. It also didn’t show any comparisons to other types of treatments with this type of patient and setting. That said, Kasi said the full results for all twelve patients should be available in the coming months and that his team is also planning future trials with more comprehensive analyses. However, he noted that these results were published because of how effective the drug seemed to be in these preliminary results. “It was not just the kill but how we analyzed the mechanisms of action of the kill,” he said.

I'm afraid you're wrong with that. Mexico is buying more than ever directly from China retailers. Sales have skyrocketed since pandemic started. Chinese online retailers like Shein, AliExpress, and now Temu are mainly at the top of online retailers charts in Mexico.

What is your hardware upgrade wish list if Google does release a new Google TV 4K?

Google has released new wallpapers for Pixel phones, featuring warm and sunny images in categories like Cityscapes, Textures, and Life. These wallpapers are exclusive to Pixel devices for now, but it's possible they will be available for all Android phones in the future. > Yes, some sad things have happened in San Francisco. The number of unhoused people has grown significantly since 2019. There are too many people doing drugs on the streets—and dying from fentanyl. There is too much crime. And, finally, the remote work phenomenon that started with the pandemic has hit San Francisco probably harder than anywhere, resulting in a downtown that can feel like a ghost town in parts. Is it that bad? What do you think?
> When and how we might slip over the brink into catastrophe is impossible to foresee. But as the events of this summer suggest, we are already all too close to the edge of the kind of systemic failure experienced so many centuries ago by the Mayans, the ancient Puebloans, and the Viking Greenlanders. The only difference is that we may have no place else to go. Call it, if you want, Collapse 2.0.

For example: If I set base font setting to medium (which I think is the sweet spot for comments), my posts feed gets huge, so now I have to lower Title font size in View type to Medium. You get it? Why not an exclusive font size setting for comments? EDIT: I already see there's a setting for that. Sorry for this post.
