Unlikely. There would be very little, if any, interference with signals unless they were extremely precise. The issue is physical stuff getting destroyed by debris.
Think of a very light sprinkling of rain, but imagine if every raindrop was solid and moving faster than a bullet. Walking out in it would be deadly, but likely wouldn't affect your cell phone service. Well, besides the tower itself and every structure in the area getting absolutely shredded.

Isn't that kinda what AI images should be used for? Meaningless stock images? Like, if the article was about a specific person, or an interesting activity or place, then yea that's not for AI. But a generic article about "jobs" seems fine.

People very rarely survive significant burns. I know the article says 50/50, but he is essentially dead. The infection risk is just too high.

Third parties need to grow from the bottom up, not from the top down. Third parties should run heavily in local and state elections. Until they hold a couple of seats, its insane to pretend running for president is at all a viable option. It's like a small town with no stadium questioning why they weren't picked to host the super bowl.

Just want to touch on one point to highlight how you're not thinking rationally and maybe have been taking too many headlines at face value:
If Israel's goal was to "bomb indescriminately" why would they bother using precision strike weapons?
I_Has_A_Hat 4 days ago • 12%
Yes the US is supplying precision strike weapons, you know what Israel will do if they no longer have precision strike weapons? The answer is not give up and go home. It has been almost a year since the war started and casualties are at 40k. For a heavily populated urban environment that's actually quite low because Israel uses precision strike weapons.
The US is the only country that has even a chance of bringing Israel to the table for ceasefire talks. There is literally no one else they will listen to. If the US withdraws support, that goes away.
If the US withdraws support, Iran invades. They've been pretty clear on that point, and a full scale war will only lead to vastly increased numbers of civilian deaths.
These things should not have to be pointed out. I get that people feel helpless, but the genocide doesn't stop if the US withdraws support. It only gets worse.
I_Has_A_Hat 4 days ago • 32%
Do they really think the genocide would stop if the US stopped supporting Israel? Are they really that ignorant of the situation over there?
Here's a hint, all indications are that it would make things much, much worse. If you don't understand how, then you haven't been paying attention.

While I hate that those stickers of Calvin are bastardizing Watterson's work without permission, they are a great way to identify douchebags who've never read a C&H comic in their lives.
Of course the rest of the stuff in this particular image give it away too.

Vote early. Almost every single area in the US has early voting at least 2 weeks before elections. People complain about long lines and lack of ballots on election day. You know what you get if you stumble into a polling place before that? A couple of bored poll workers in an otherwise empty building. You get your ballot, fill it out, and leave within 5 minutes. I seriously don't understand why this isn't used more.

The dirtiest, least efficient coal power plant is still IMMENSELY more efficient than a car combustion engine. When you don't have to make your energy generating device mobile, you can get a LOT more power from your fuel.
Maybe spend some time learning about a subject before you make claims about it. There's less chance of looking like an ignorant fool that way.
Let me guess. You spend a lot of time in /c/fuckcars and therefore find ANY type of car bad and pointless?

The real trick is to find a friend that's a PC gamer and casually mention that you're considering building a PC. It is out of your hands at that point. The call will go out and spread like the fires of Gondor to everyone they know on Discord. Slowly but surely, used parts will begin to trickle in from others who have recently upgraded their PCs and have pieces they no longer need. A case here. Some old RAM there. A 3-4 year old GPU. Peripherals.
Like hermit crabs changing shells, their old equipment will be passed down to you; the newest convert. Eventually you will have nearly all the pieces needed for a good mid-range gaming PC, to the point where you might as well just get the last few parts to finish it. And then your journey will be complete.
As the years go by and you slowly upgrade your PC like a modern day Ship of Thebes, make sure to save all your old equipment. For there will come a time when you will hear those fateful words, "Hey, my friend is thinking about building a computer..." And the cycle shall begin anew.

Take Musk out of the equation.
SpaceX is one of the only companies seriously investing into this kind of technology. Virtually every company that claims to be working on something similar winds up closing within 4 years after taking investors money and producing little more than vaporware.
I guess what I'm saying is, put up or shut up. They aren't monopolizing the industry because they're muscling out the competition, they're just the only ones bothering to actually compete.

Put a per gram tax on every manufactured product and watch how companies magically find alternative materials/methods to make goods.
I'm moving across the country in a few weeks and am trying to plan my route as I'll be driving a moving van with a car towed behind it. The entire drive will be 16-17 hours. Google maps seems limited for searching everything I'd want to take into account for the route (pull through gas stations, height requirements, avoiding mountain highways, etc.) and was wondering if anyone knew of a better way to plan out the trip?
