If your local library isn't too far, you could go there. Most public library's have events or clubs they host, ours has it all on a corkboard near the door so people can see what's coming up. If you pick one, you know what the other people in it are interested in (for the hours they're at the club or event anyway) and you can use that as a starting point. If one club or event doesn't work for you, try a different one next time, you'll most likely meet a whole new bunch of people with a different topic of interest.

Disclaimer: I'm not a lawyer, just someone who knows his rights in this particular case in my particular locality.
Some companies will "require" that condition to have an account, but legally you have to be given the chance to opt-out and not be retaliated against for that choice. I haven't had a single company refuse me an account or access for excluding myself from their arbitration clause, yet. However, I suppose it is a possibility, although I believe a very small one. Since it's a legally protected right. However a business can refuse service, so it's up to the individual to determine how they want to safeguard their rights or surrender them for services, based on their needs.

I enjoy a good FPS, even military sim styles like Battlefield, but that also why I wouldn't join the real military. I enjoy it as a game, a fantasy where none actually get physical injured and everyone goes home at the end of a battle. You can not be forced to give up legal rights in a contract in the USA, and anytime an arbitration agreement in the US is pushed out onto the public like a big ol' turd by the @55holes 5h!tting on us from up high, we have the legal tight to opt-out. This usually only lasts for a limited amount of time, typically 30 days after "agreeing" to the new TOS, and the process has to be done manually, like with an email or actual letter. Yes it's a pain, they design it that way so less users will do it. But it can be done.

Sometimes I use the 'crumbs' for a small print, like model bases or tests. Other times I weld all the remainder together and run it like normal. (This works for me because I tend to print in the same color and material alot.) My other option is using these small amounts for my 3D pen, which I use to join parts together like a welder. It works really well for some of the dice towers I print that come as two or three parts, on seams that won't show. I super glue the last joint so everything is solid and seamless to the eye.

I agree these where choices, and he should be held accountable for them. I disagree that they make him a bad person, because a person may not have the understanding of what those choices can result in. I agree that he is not a good person, but I agree because he is refusing to take responsibility for his choices.
Edit: And upon reading the remainder of the article, I agree he is not a good person, because he clearly did understand what those choices could result in. Shooting video while driving, let alone at those kind of speeds, and while drunk? I can't think of any excuse or explanation that could mitigate that.

I haven't found a bluetooth set that works well with the deck yet. Everything seems to have a second of lag in the headphones when on bluetooth, that I never experience with wired. I've used both an old pair of Samsung earbuds that cane with an android phone over 5 years ago, which worked fine, and my personal go-to pair of Turtle Beach earbuds, with detachable boom mic. I leave the mic in my case unless I'm using it, and everything works well with that setup.

I live in New York, one of the most northern and blue states around, and have my entire life. In 7th grade I decided I didn't like saying the Pledge of Allegiance, the name alone sounded odd to me, like why are children pledging themselves to a country, when we can't even really understand what that means? So I stopped.
The school staff lost their minds.
Luckily my parents taught me to be firm in my beliefs, if I had truely thought about them and believed them. So I stuck to my choice, and my parents backed me up on it when they arrived at the school 45 minutes after the Pledge normally ended.
On a side note, I had read ahead in my Social Studies textbook that week, and learned about Nationalism in Nazi Germany, and it had sounded strangly familiar to me. Not long after the Pledge of Allegiance incident happened.

I was introduced to the potential for ADHD as an adult, and now at 33 I have my official diagnosis! Severe ADHD / Innatentive Presentation I've never been relived to get a diagnosis of severe anything before, but I feel like I can finally feel sure about why I've struggled with these symptoms for so much of my life. Now I can start learning how to deal with and accommodate my symptoms, rather then trying to wrestle this many-limbed thing in the dark of ignorance.
If this is meant to be elsewhere, please let me know. I once read a story about a soldier who was in a horrific assault, who was then grafted into a large battle mech. As the story goes on, more flesh is taken until eventually only a spinal column and brain are left inside a gel-sack, and the machine has been upgraded to the point that it now has a super-punch that is powered by artillery shells in the shoulder. Some search engines showed alot of similar stories, but I can't find the right one. Anyone know this tale by title?
Right, so at a glance alot of the posts here are for FDM printing, and while I love my Ender 3 and have no problems with it (anymore...) I really want to get into resin printing. I have a 2 year old Elegoo Mars 2 Mono that I've used a handful of times, because each time I try to print a test model instead of something that looks like a chess piece, all I get is a circle of solid resin about the thickness of a US quarter. I'm kinda discouraged by this, since I know plenty of people get into resin printing and love the level of detail they can get on it. Yes, I know I can get similar details with FDM, and sometimes I do, but I want to expand my printing horizons as well. I've tried printing at different ambient temperatures, reslicing the model with different slicers, and warming the resin before use, but I can't seem to get more then a disk from my printer. Does anyone have some advice or insight into this issue?
I've been reading the Animorph books and had a realization. So many people commented on how the Croc hunter would touch animals, just pick up something that was venomous or plain dangerous, and act like it was not a big deal. Yes, he always cautioned respect for living things, and the general idea was to show that these beings should be treated with respect and a little awe but not feared or disgusted. Wouldn't that be the perfect cover for an Animorph who needed to collect all sorts of powerful forms? And acquiring the morph is supposed to tranquil the animal for a bit, which is occasionally commented on when Steve would handle an animal. Plus, Wouldn't someone who travels all over the world and is famous be in a great position to combat a global threat with these powers? Traveling from place to place, acquiring powerful animal forms, then using them in his mission like a specialist before moving on to the next?
