Everyone is missing the most mundane explanation (which may or may not be the entire reason) which is vaccinating populations you don’t actually care about is still necessary for herd immunity. (Ie the argument about why the US / rich countries should finance covid vaccines for poor countries. There is still benefit because it prevents it from spreading and mutating external to your own vaccinated population)

I wonder if anyone has ever calculated how much a driver makes per delivery. Like if I buy a pizza, the delivery guy gets like $3 from wages if they make minimum wage and then whatever I tip. Depends which one is a more fundamental belief. If you are willing to vote for socially liberal agenda despite being a (horribly misguided) fiscal conservative then that’s a disagreement and something we can work through. If you are willing to vote for a fiscal conservative agenda (republicans) despite being a social liberal, yeah, you clearly have terrible and selfish priorities.
