Entrepreneurs protested - Indian Industries Association has opposed the instructions issued by the Air Quality Management Commission. IIA Chapter President Shantanu Singhal says that the biggest problem faced by the industries is to convert their diesel generators to dual fuel mode as per CAQM directive, For which the cost will range from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 20 lakh. Which is not possible to be borne by small scale industries. In these circumstances, Pollution Control Board officials issue orders to close the industries. He said that IIA National President Neeraj Singhal has requested the Uttar Pradesh government to solve this problem.
