That wasn't my point at all. I just meant that it is sad that this shit is happening but that it is what was elected by the majority. I am absolutely not saying people should not protest. My "good luck" was not sarcastic or anything, I really meant it.
Late reply, I didn't get a notification until now for some reason.

Yes, but I am European as well (Swedish), and up until like three years or so, I would fully agree, but the damn american trucks have become really common here the last years.

It's like you'll have to go convert like a 2005 ICE car to electric to get a "nice car without tech shit I never asked for".

Yes, you're probably right.

Fair enough. I just rather pay some tax money to weapons that go to Ukraine than to fight in the next war myself against Russia. Because that is what is likely going to happen in Europe if Russia wins.

You have a good point here, didn't even think about that at first. It's of course always about the money...

Why are you saying this? Do you believe pro-ukranians are on Zelensky's side rather than the Ukrainian people's side?
lysol 9 months ago • 100%
True. To say that Russia is winning/Ukraine is losing is total bullshit, but with that said, it is still really unwise to underestimate Russia.

Jets can be used to shoot down missiles. They can also be used to win a war.

Send them jets already. Jas Gripen, come on Sweden.

You see, any normal country would have realized the war became way too costly and capitulated. But Russia is not a normal country.
Saying "Russia is losing" a year ago was not propaganda. It was just a lack of understanding how little Putin cares about the life of his soldiers. We now know he'll just keep sending more no matter what. He literally can't lose this war and continue to be president.

I wonder who will win!?
lysol 10 months ago • 80%
Exactly. I don't think people realize that, although it sounds like Ukraine gets a shitload of money, it's still probably pennies compared to the cost of being in an actual war.

Poor choice of words by me, but it was exactly my point. Of course they are fighting for themselves, but the US giving Ukraine weapons is the US fighting Russia without risking any of their own troops. It couldn't get cheaper than this to fight Russia.
lysol 10 months ago • 70%
You realize how expensive it would have been if the US would have fought a war against Russia themselves? Right now, Ukraine is defeating one of the top enemies of the US for the US.

Source? Because from what I've learned, they've studied aspartame so much now it's almost silly, and it has never been proven to be "worse than sugar". Though the sugar industry is really happy you believe otherwise.

Exactly, fuck cars isn't "fuck transportation vehicles". The things clogging the streets are personal vehicles, not buses and semi trucks (did I do American English correct here?) transporting stuff.

Very short description: Israel and the West Bank (Palestine) agree on borders. Then Israel starts to build settlements (basically residential areas) for israeilis within the Palestinian territory.

Badun-tss!
Lars Wilderäng is a Swedish author and blogger. Quick overview: his topics generally revolve around defence policies (Russia bad, moar defence), economics (low interest rates bad, housing market speculation bad) and since the war started, the war in Ukraine (send Ukraine moar weapons). He hates Elon Musk but loves his Tesla. He hates ICE cars. He's unfortunately one of the "EVs will solve everything" people, which annoys me greatly, but today I saw a small car-related comment on his blog that actually made me laugh. Oh and sorry for the misspelled "cyclists".
I thought it would stop working 1st of July?
