IMO other countries shouldn't adopt laws like this, the EU and maybe the US should be the only ones, since new standards will take longer to get adopted if every country with this kinda law has to allow it instead of just one or two.

But they're already using clang/llvm, so they already need to comply with the license. Some like FreeBSD already have the llvm tools installed alongside elftoolchain

why do most non-gnu distros, like chimera and major BSD variants, use elftoolchain instead of the LLVM tools?

Often the LLVM tools (llvm-ar, llvm-strip, etc) are already installed by default, so why include 2 sets of binary utilities?

Arch Linux isn't up to date anymore

Arch Linux keeps falling behind in package updates, basic packages like gdb and LLVM are newer in Fedora then in Arch, and Bash is newer in DEBIAN then in Arch. Why have package updates fallen so far behind?

I have mine in a closet so I don't have that issue where it might fall on the floor and get destroyed.

It has significantly better uptime then my PC since I main windows on it (windows gives me more fps in games and I don't wanna dual boot) and I restart right away whenever there's an update

why do mastodon toots have more boosts then favorites?

My understanding is that favorites are equivalent to twitter likes, and boosts are equivalent to twitter retweets, but on twitter people like way more then they retweet, so why is it different on mastodon?

If I need something more powerful for stuff like my Minecraft server I use an old laptop running Fedora, but my pi 4 works great as a super low profile, low power, stable http and ssh server.

What's this stuff about the pi foundation being assholes though, can someone fill me in?
