I generally agree with you, but I think you missed the mark here. People who manage to buy a used car that they may need to get by are not the issue here. I hate cars and car dependant cities, but also have a lease on a used one that I can barely afford because the town I'm in right now is 100% carbrained. When I lived in the city, I was proud not to own a car. I also currently don't have the money for it in my budget, so my quality of life has taken a significant hit by this necessary purchase (though it would be much worse without it). I live paycheck-to-paycheck right now too.

I have an Asustor Drivestor 2 and a 4tb Seagate NAS HDD. IIRC, it was around $300 total. I've only been using it for a few months, but it's an easily expandable setup if you want to add more storage later!

This meme isn't funny at all, I agree. I sometimes struggle to get healthy options because the prices around me keep going up. I've switched to cheaper grocery stores, got good at cooking, buy store brands, but I have to keep saying "that's too expensive now, better buy something cheaper". I don't eat a lot of processed food, but I also have a million other things to do each day, and though I'm skilled at cooking, I barely have the time. And, many people have it far harder than I do.
