Not pedantic. That's an egregious misuse of language.

Nasty woman.
Nasty man.
When cowboys would be sitting on their front porch or at the local bar outside talking with nothing to do, they would sometimes take their pistols and shoot at cow pies or horse poop lying in the street or across the way. This became known as "shooting the shit." When they were hunting fur, a hunter might point out what they thought was a beaver or another valuable small animal, but upon further inspection would sometimes say, "Aw, that's just bullshit."

I'm not really debating that he's old and he's lost a lot, I am questioning the comparison between the reaction Biden received and the reaction Trump receives. I don't think it's hypocrisy. I think the difference between them is stark.
I was one of the people who was concerned when Biden was our candidate and I was so glad when he stepped aside and Kamala became our candidate. Biden was like an Alzheimer's patient who had wandered away from home. I don't mean that lightly; I'm not joking. He obviously has something very serious going on.
I hope I don't hurt anyone by bringing up that disease. My grandmother died of dementia, and it's horrible. I don't throw the term around lightly.

Ok I get it, but Biden wasn't crazy. He was infirm. Different vibe.
It was obvious, and Trump isn't infirm. Doesn't seem age related. He's doing the same crazy shit he always has.

Platforms aren't the guardians of our kids. That being said, if there are laws or rules those computers are supposed to follow, companies shouldn't be subverting those for a new "customer base."

I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey in the theater when I was 7. I wasn't even with my family, I was with a friend and his parents. It freaked me the freak out. That space baby at the end. The dreams I had.

It's fine, great on her phone. After sending to me it's unwatchable.
Edit: NOTE, I am the ***receiver*** of the texts. So many people asking me to have my wife do something different on her end. Beloved, she is on iPhone because she doesn't want to do anything "weird." She is texting from her phone number using her texting app. That's what's going to happen. Now, why can't I get iMessage on my android phone? If it's just a messenger app why not make it available for Android? I'd use it.

My feeling was that if it's named after the guy then he ought to be terrifying. Somebody specific had to be in threat, not just humanity at large.

Not much to it really. The "mystery" didn't develop much, there wasn't a sense of suspense, the "mystery solving" sequences didn't solve much, the acting wasn't good, there wasn't any sense of evil on the satanism. Really blah. A waste of time for real horror fans, IMHO.
My reflection isn't quite right either. Slightly different when I stare at it, like it can't maintain composure over time. I think it's changing when I look away, just brief catches at times, nothing I can really pin down.
The same way it does in Google maps, and in Waze. But I can't seem to find a setting on the phone that will do that for any other apps, and I can't find any information through internet searches that leave me that direction. As usual, they show me what they think I ought to be looking for, which is how to lock an app. Not the question I asked, Google (or anybody else). Is it impossible or does anybody have a tip? Not looking to go down the unlocking my phone root access path either. It's not that big a deal, I could turn on trusted devices, or extend unlock, but those aren't the solutions I'm looking for.
The simplicity of it is logic defying. It used to be that you had to find crosswalks or move puzzle pieces or type blurred letters and numbers, but NOW all the sudden I can just click a box and HEY!, I'm human? That's hardly the Turing Test I'd expected.
They are definitely less discriminating than you are. They'll accept many inferior sticks. They also sometimes will have "stick babes" who show up with any old stick just to boost their profiles or something. But there are some gems from all over the world, and I often spend a long time browsing there.
I've been meaning to tell you...

I guess this could have just been a shower thought as well...
However I find myself being disagreed with quite often, mostly for not advocating or cheering violence, "by any means possible" change, or *revolutionary tactics*. It would seem that I'm not viewed as authentically holding my view unless I advocate extreme, violent, or radical action to accomplish it. Those seem like two different things to me. Edit: TO *COMMUNISTS,* *ANARCHISTS,* OR ANYONE ELSE CALLING FOR THE OVERTHROW OF SOCIETY **THIS *OBVIOUSLY* ISN'T MEANT FOR YOU.**
I didn't realize this was a Tiktok song 😂
Oh, and it's LARGE. That's my range it's sitting on, and it covers about 2/3 of it.
It seems like something new asking me to enable DRM in order to play the content on my Plex? That doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Is there something I should do to make this message go away and make my system safer?
Not just a song that can be found in the archives, but one that almost everyone can hum, even today. (Somebody asked what was meant by "today's...." Throw whatever you want out, somebody tossed out "Love me tender" as being a tune from in the 1860s.)
These are my grandcats, my son and his wife's cats.

Sure, "nice" needs some definition. But that's your call. I'm asking you if you are a nice person.
I understand that the newer version has a different ending and some new characters and scenes that weren't in the original. But the original is what got all the accolades and was considered his best book. Which way should I go?
It occurs to me that this last 1/2 century or so has been globally pretty peaceful. And I wondered if it might even be one of the MOST peaceful 50 years we've had. I'm inclined to imagine that the Cold War might have kept a lid on larger military aspirations. What do you think, am I deluded?
I know I know. I wanted to import data from a web page - title and publishing dates from Stephen King books. I wanted to update my caliber library with the correct metadata from the online source. I tried three different AI's. Claude. Pi. And ChatGPT. I've spent all day copying and pasting error messages copying pasting new scripts running scripts copying and pasting error messages etc etc etc. I could have gone line by line through my caliber library manually in much less time than I have spent doing this. There's no question the AI knows how to program in Python better than I do. What hope do I have of ever reducing my workload significantly using Python?
