Explanation - In Vampire: The Masquerade, the Malkavians are a clan of Vampires that are blessed with great insight, but are mad to the last. They supernaturally see patterns where nobody else could, both true and nonsensical. They make great conspiracy theorists. Once the microwave stops beeping, does *your* Malkavian friend insist you go to the forest clearing at midnight because: "The pop-pop-pop of popcorn is just like pop-pop-pop of gunfire and I always loved a midnight snack when camping as a mortal, so let's go set anambush at midnight in that forest clearing. Trust me!" Or: Malkavian conspiracy theorist hears popcorn popping. They need to go to bed.
