There is a project that repurposes a blackberry keyboard to make a detachable android keyboard that I have saved somewhere. Phones are too big as it is however and adding that on, plus the cost being about 50% again over what I spent on the actual phone I'm not super keen on that.
I just want a blackberry key three xD

Jeez everyone carries a lot of shit in their pockets.
I carry my bank card in a side pocket down by my right knee and occasionally keys in the front left pocket.

I don't even want the slide mechanism, just the keyboard. Blackberry keytwo is the greatest phone / form factor of recent years imo

I ride a Ragley Trig which I would recommend if the company hadn't been shuttered. It has been a good year since I was looking at bikes and can't remember anything else I was looking at to offer as options.
However I do have a tyre recommendation in the Panaracer Gravel King. There are a couple of versions but I run the 650b x 48c Gravel King Slicks for all on road duty. They are a great, fast rolling but larger volume tyre for that additional comfort and make for a great training tyre sacrificing a little speed for that extra comfort. There is also one or possibly 2 other versions of the Gravel King that have more tread for more off road capability and based on my experience with the slicks (approx 500km so far) they are definitely worth having a look at.

Not that I have read about but I also haven't looked to try and find out if it is a thing. I play everything I'm ripping at no faster than 2x in the hopes that it looks like normal enough activity whilst still saving me some time.
As I have said though I have been using soggfy for over a year now, ripping probably around 5000 tracks at a guess and had no issues what so ever :)

Yeh,i had the titan for around a year and a half. It was a decent piece of hardware with a keyboard that was fairly decent (not as good as blackberry still).
The problem with them is the software and support. The keyboards just about work but aren't integrated into the whole experience like you got with a blackberry. It always felt a bit awkward and some choices were just weird, as if the programmers never tried actually using what they programmed.
I tried to put a custom ROM on mine but could never get the boot loader to unlock as it should have so ultimately I gave up as the positives for me of having a keyboard were being outweighed by the jank

As a skateboarder I know the pain of tiny rocks and imagine it would be like that but with possibly more speed!
They look fun as a novelty for sure though.

There have been plenty, some that have come to fruition. The first and only thing I have ever back was the planet computers "Astro Slide", I will never participate in crowd funding again after that fucking shit show.
At the end of the day though they don't usually attract enough backers to really make a decent product out if it, which is a shame.

Soggfy works perfectly as of Monday when I last used it.
You download a modified version of Spotify and then it rips the audio Spotify itself is sending rather than locating poor quality yt versions etc. If you pay for premium then you can get 320 mp3s or ogg files.
I've been using this for a little over a year and never once had an issue with it so worth checking out :)

Yeh, I'd like to give one a go for the novelty factor but they don't seem like a solid safe transport option.
Someone in my town has one that does like 50kph. He wears leathers and a helmet etc but imagine trying to emergency stop when your brakes are "lean back", you are never stopping in time in a real emergency. Fuck that.

I mean, the 6a still has 3 years of support left so whilst it is older it is hardly at the end of its supported life.
Not everyone can change a battery in a phone, I can but I would still rather not do it on a phone that isn't really anything special and whilst yes they could feasibly last that long I think in practical everyday use application by the time you are getting to three years of daily use it will be beaten up and physically not in great shape any more for your average user.

My favourites are Saucony, Adidas or Hoka. Adidas I would shy away from recommending to other people though as I've had some amazing shoes from them and some fucking terrible shoes so it is some what hit and miss. For me Saucony are always on point but always tend to be harder to find a good deal.
I usually trawl eBay and a few different websites looking for current stock they are trying to move and often end up with different shoes every time because of this, although j don't mind that too much. I have size 12 feet which usually narrows down my choices anyway but I'd say I average around £40 - £45 sort of area for shoes. Sometimes I'll have to buy slightly more expensive. I got some Saucony once that were second hand and worn for about 50km for £15 and they lasted a good 800km.

What relevance does that have to what I said? If the physical phone isn't going to last that long then I'd argue it is of little importance.

Those look like leg pain incarnate! I used to run every day for a few years and would get through 3 pairs of shoes at least in a year. Depends on the shoes but they always started affecting my body detrimentally between 600 and 800km, I think the best ones I had may have lasted to 900 but it wasn't the norm.
Yes they may be expensive but you can find bargains if you look and the cost is worth not fucking your legs up IMO.

These devices aren't even constructed to last 7 years. I don't see that either of those things are worth £600 personally.

Sometimes I can listen to a whole one in a day at work.

As the other commenter mentioned you can add games to steam as a non steam game to launch it via that. With pirated games I'm more than happy to launch from an icon though, it isn't the actual method of launching that bothers me as much as it does making different bs accounts from these shitty companies.
Rockstar forces its own launcher if you want a legit copy but I'm guessing a pirate version will circumvent this.
theskyisfalling 1 week ago • 92%
Seen as they are adding a proper offline option, does anyone know if I can launch this straight from steam or do I need another shitty launcher with another account?
edit never mind it says requires 3rd party account, in which case even for such a price you can get fucked

Enjoy Lovecraft! I wish I could go back and read them for the first time again!
I've got a few more Deathlands books under my belt since last I posted, I think I'm up to number 11 now, still enjoying it quite a lot.
As a break however I started Gideon Sable: The Best Thing you can Steal by Simon R Green today. Haven't got very far in yet but have enjoyed the introduction to it.

It is a shame, I've been buying from them since the early 00s on and off and have owned parts or whole bikes from all of the sub companies, all of which have been decent.
If I had known that I was getting such a good price on this bike because they are ceasing to exist I would have bought something else, hindsight is a removed! I have found a third party part that says it is for my ragley for the hanger but it was only to have a spare and I can't 100% tell from the picture that is will definitely fit my bike and I'm always worried with weird specific parts like that!
Additional post today purely because this popped up for me after doing my daily posts and it is free to download for 24 hours only so getting the word out :)

I do believe they went down with Nukeproof, Vitus, DHB and Brand - X along with the sale of Chain Reaction / Wiggle and their ultimate demise.
A random link to an article talking about it.
It is pretty sad as these were pretty well regarded brands that have just been destroyed and annoying as piss for me as I bought a ragley bike last year not knowing that they were shutting down so now I can't get things like a replacement derraileur hanger from them.

It isn't a dish in itself but Laoganma Crispy Chili Oil is the fucking best.
I presumed you were in the US (so sorry if not) so found a link relevant for there and it seems like it is called Spicy Chilli Crisp there. Either way though added to a dish when cooking adds a great flavour with a good amount of heat. Add it after cooking on top for even more of a kick.
It definitely isn't the hottest you will get but it is a great flavour with a great amount of heat IMO.

This is the stupidest thing I've seen in a while. I have so many questions after reading that very uninformative "article" that has no actual details. Like how do you turn it to start, the author speculates that it would respond to pressure in different places through the feet, but then it looks like it is on fixed wheels. If the centre of those wheels facilitates turning with what looks like tiny cylinders not only if it going to feel weird but actual use in real world is going to be nigh on impossible, any tiny stones in there are gonna fuck your shit up.
As someone else said it looks like it'll throw you given any opportunity.
"That said, the personal commuter is also going to appeal to people who love skateboards, and always wanted a battery-powered alternative!" It literally won't. Anyone who can skateboard and sees this piece of shit will have a good laugh to themselves as they remember getting thrown off their board whilst they were learning by an innocuous tiny stone, then happily get back on their skateboards which are going to be infinitely more fun to ride.
Honestly it makes me sad that so much money is wasted in this world on trash like this that could be used to improve and further tried and tested things like in this case skateboards or scooters.

How are you finding it?
I found the second and first half of the third books a bit of a slog. Ultimately I enjoyed how it wrapped up but I struggled to get there at points, even though I'm glad I did!
Did you watch the TV show?

That's cool, I figured this out through trial and error and it has been this way as long as I can remember. It never really bothered me that much but I'm also not posting images that often so it hasn't become a regular bottleneck for me. However some indication something is happening might be nice.

Test image here.
For me personally when I want to upload an image I need to press picture icon, then upload. Then from there looking through my images I can't just select the one I want as that will not actually do anything. I have to tap and hold on the desired picture. That then brings up a larger version with an "add" button underneath.
Tapping add will bring me back to the previous screen and then I need to wait a minute for the image URL to be filled into the box once it has been uploaded. There is no indication it is being uploaded. Sometimes I'll wait for a couple of minutes and nothing will happen so I go through the previous steps again.
Then once the URL is filled on my reply, previewing the post will often not display the image to me for another up to 5 minutes. There is just blank space and no indication there should be an image loading within the preview.
I'm not sure if any of this makes any difference to you but I have noticed picture posting is a little funky and some of my experience may help you get more results.

After working for 10 years on 3 days a week and then another 5 doing 4 days a week the last few years of working a 5 day a week job has been the most miserable adjustment of my life. I've still not fully come to terms with how much of my time is ruined by working.
