Happy to report though that the bag also includes cola flavoured reindeer ones which are pretty banging.

@stick Oops I've done that thing silly Mastodoners do where they forget tagging the community will make a post. But in my defense I am poorly.

Meme post on Lemmy a few weeks back basically asked "what's with men and sticks?" Many enthusiastic comments and posts followed, showing off some actually quite impressive sticks. Now there's a whole stick enthusiasts community [@stick](https://sh.itjust.works/c/stick) and I find myself keeping an eye out for good ones whenever I'm outside just in case. This sort of thing is why the internet is actually great. @booteille @peertube Hello! I've only tried to use it a couple of times but the tool at https://joinpeertube.org/instances seems to give a very limited number of results. I've been assuming it's broken since clearly there are a lot more instances out there than listed, but I might just be misunderstanding how it's supposed to work.

@cariad Yeah tbh my fibre crafts are a bit out of place there already (despite definitely counting as making, in my mind!) so I reckon they'd accept me. But it feels precarious putting both on the same server, so just wanted to see what else is out there.

Looking for a PeerTube instance for game devlogs. I have a crafts channel on makertube.net already but would prefer to spread myself around in case one server goes down. Also tbh I'm not even sure devlogs would count as "making" anyway. Tried the instance finder on the PT homepage but it's pretty useless so if anyone knows where is stable and welcomes this kind of content I'd appreciate it! Thanks. Maybe it's just a problem with Asda spinach. My frustration spilleth over this lunchtime.

Properly mid tier lolly in my clearly expert opinion.

Clearly my tastes in cold treats are just a little classier than your own. No shame in it, I won't judge.

As part of the whole "return to 2010 internet" thing the world is doing, I've been convinced to give #RSS feeds another go and picked up #inoreader

So! I'm starting from scratch but have made a big list of #GameDev feeds that I've found so far and posted it on Lemmy 'cos it's way too long for here (see first post in thread).

Any suggestions for things to add to my reading list would be very welcome! Blog, video, podcast, we're in the "throw feeds at the wall and see what sticks" stage here 😄

Hoping for some advice on AI pathfinding terminology

Hoping for some advice on AI pathfinding terminology Basically I have a town made of individual hex shaped tiles with buildings on them. Each tile will have footpaths too, and my little people will hopefully wander around the paths, travelling to other tiles via their path connections. I'm fine with learning this stuff but just not sure exactly what terms to search for to get started! Should I be looking up specific [#Godot](https://mastodon.gamedev.place/tags/Godot) features for finding routes? Algorithms? Help!
