Is there a self-hosted podcast type app for downloaded youtube videos? (resume playback, etc)

So heres my setup. I use pocketcasts for just about everything that is long form so its all in one spot and I can keep track of episodes and resume where I left off at any time. (it also works on phone/desktop browser, so I can listen anywhere). Besides the podcast functionality, what I normally do with LONG youtube videos is I download the video or audio using newpipe and then import it to pocketcasts and add it to my queue. If I didnt have this feature I probably wouldn't watch as many long youtube videos and such. Is there a self-hosted version of this? My ideal app would be a podcast app that streams from my server (kind of like plex), but that also allows me to download files locally. I would also be able to import "other" media into this app. What would really be nice is if it could just watch certain youtube channels and then give that to me as a podcast feed, so I can download and watch episodes at my convenience. Does anything like this exist? Is there a better way to do what im doing?

Do you think Framework will ever abandon the OG FW13 design? (and have 2 models?)

One thing I've wondered about the FW is if it will look pretty much exactly the same 3, 5 or even 10 years down the line. Not that I think theres anything wrong with the design (its just about perfect), but I wonder if FW will release a "new version" that isn't fully swappable with the old version. My guess would be they release a new "shell" that may or may not be compatible with the old motherboard, maybe smaller bezels, or whatever new thing is popular at the time. Maybe they just decide to release a very similar shell, but that is made from new materials with some minor changes that make things so that they arent fully backwards-compatible. I think they'll release updated boards for the old gen for maybe 2 generations before only making new board for the "new"design. Im predicting this will happen in around 3-4 generations from now. What do you think?

What OS are you running btw? Linux support is high priority for me, and ive heard sleep states arent great on the FW. Hoping it was fixed with the AMD version.

Those panels you linked are all 60hz I believe

oops, yea on second look they all are 60hz, except for a few which dont list it (so im assuming 60hz).

Maybe Ill eventually just get a FW16 instead.

How do you think the stock panel is for light gaming? A few others were complaining about ghosting.

Ugh, well is there is one company that would offer an upgraded screen - im hoping FW will be the ones to do it. Is the panel good enough for light gaming? Or is it bad even for a non-gaming display?

Have you checked to see if there are any drop in replacements available on panelook.com?

Here's all the 13.5" panels - maybe one of those would work? https://www.panelook.com/sizmodlist.php?sizes[]=1350

Can anyone comment on the FW13 AMD gaming performance (and thermal throttling)

Just wondering how it manages thermals. I know this gen AMD is really great for graphics, but I know thermals also plays a big role. Right now im on a X1 carbon with 1165g7, and it supposed has pretty good graphics for intel. But even if im getting 100fps ill get dips down to 2fps at times because it starts to throttle. So while the CPU and igpu are good enough for me on paper, the performance really isnt. I dont game a ton on it, but its nice to have for the random esports title every so often (so i wish it was better). So how is FW? And is there a big difference between the 7640U and 7840U? Thanks.
