Mysu Wallet v0.4.6 is now available!

o/ hi everyone haven't posted an update about mysu on here or reddit in a bit (back when i had a reddit account). just wanted to let you guys know Mysu 0.4.6 is now available on the Mysu website, via I2P torrent, and via F-Droid (i will upload to Gitea repo soon) Changelog: - Added support for editing address labels - Wallet sync progress bar is larger, now displays block heights - Wallet creation screen now has toggle to disable Monerochan Additionally, the beta version of the app on F-Droid is now on 0.4.7.1, which has the following changes: - Transaction screen redesign. Now auto-updates as well. - Tx builder fee calculation fixes (thanks to Monero C++ bug fixes). - Wallet balance now displays immediately once synced, fixing a recent bug where it was delayed by a few seconds. - Better IPv6 address handling in node settings (still testing this.. so it may not work. let me know if you run into issues) Links: Mysu (I2P): http://mysu.i2p Mysu (I2P, b32): http://acruexirfkgcqhwxyu75v7dtahr3a44hmbfygngsvubmkrbd6axa.b32.i2p/ Mysu (Tor): http://rk63tc3isr7so7ubl6q7kdxzzws7a7t6s467lbtw2ru3cwy6zu6w4jad.onion/ Source/Git (I2P): http://4hsesnr6mjb4qrflgf5gezjaszzoqnnisin7ywzbsv6pgcxysiaq.b32.i2p/pokkst/mysu http://4hsesnr6mjb4qrflgf5gezjaszzoqnnisin7ywzbsv6pgcxysiaq.b32.i2p/pokkst/monero

Regional pricing, last I checked on the Steamworks dashboard, is usually set by the developer themselves, and doesn't always mean it'll be cheaper in other regions. And sales are also set by the developer, even for Summer/Winter sales. The developer can choose to opt out.

He said his order eventually got fulfilled, and there's other people in those threads, including myself, that have used this site before and received valid keys. They just take a while to process the order sometimes.

I tried it out recently, but couldn't get it to use I2P-only, and I'm not sure if that's even an option. It always still made clearnet connections, exposing my IP address/VPN's IP address.

I've since made the move to BiglyBT. I2P integration is much better via the I2P Helper plugin.

It's an anonymizing network/mixnet like Tor, though more decentralized.

All traffic over I2P is encrypted unless you use an outproxy (which isn't as common as a Tor exit node is), so no. Most, if not all I2P torrenting traffic never touches an outproxy, just like Tor hidden services (.onion sites and whatnot) never touch an exit node.

Hosting a Tor relay is fine even, as you are still just passing encrypted data around. It's running an exit node that can get you into some sketchy waters with your ISP/law enforcement.

For me, Steam just keeps starting, crashing, then re-starting, after the update.

It was more prevalent in cryptocurrency subs earlier on I think, but all the accounts shared a similar format for usernames and their replies would always just restate what the comment they're replying to said, just worded slightly different. Has been going on for a long while before the OpenGPT/ChatGPT stuff blew up near the end of 2022.

It's so nice to not see GPT-3 bots replying to literally everything, like they have been for like 2 years now on Reddit.

If you want to completely get rid of YouTube, then PeerTube or Odysee is nice.

In the small chance you have a Fairphone, then CalyxOS is pretty nice, but does ship with some proprietary Google bits enabled, like with regards to eSIMs. By default this is disabled on GrapheneOS.

    Firearms Download Mirror

For anyone who comes across this (hopefully lemmy.ml doesn't shut this community down, but we can just make one on another server): I host a mirror of some prints at gats.mysu.dev. It is available via Tor and I2P only, the domain above will simply redirect to the onion. Files can be downloaded directly, or via I2P torrent.
