Best Flatpaks? https://www.hackingthehike.com/2021/03/08/best-flatpaks-for-linux/

This looks like a pretty strong list of Flatpaks. Are there any others you prefer? Anything cool I should check out?

I installed TW today too. Then I tried enabling Nvidia Optimus. It's still fast and smooth but somehow I feel like I just went off roading. It runs but I know there's wear and tear now.

That's kind of what I was getting at. I know there's a lot of disdain towards American tech. It's very understandable between the political atmosphere and security concerns. No government wants to worry about NSA backdoors.

I hope the competition will improve products over time and that we're not squandering resources to prove a point.

That describes it perfectly. I tried openSUSE TW last year as a short project. It was death by a thousand papercuts. I spent teo or three months trying to iron out issues. I ultimately decided to ditch it because I wanted to actually use my computer.

I have had much better success with Fedora and Pop but occasionally I still find it a little lacking. Unfortunately, that's not a popular opinion in the Linux community.

Ubuntu gets a lot of hate in the Linux community but it really works well. I love what System76 has done with it.

Pop really is a smooth OS. While I've stuck mostly to Fedora and OpenSUSE, Pop has become a daily driver for me.
