Game of Trees (Got) is a version control system which prioritizes ease of use and simplicity over flexibility.
Got is still under development; it is being developed on OpenBSD and its main target audience are OpenBSD developers.
Got uses Git repositories to store versioned data. Git can be used for any functionality which has not yet been implemented in Got. It will always remain possible to work with both Got and Git on the same repository.
Game of Trees is developed by OpenBSD developers and other contributors. The software is freely usable and re-usable by everyone under a BSD license.

A becomes B. But... you have a lot of options in case you want a different behavior.

Me too.
Although logseq needs some bugs fixed, specially related with performance / memory usage. Using 1.5 GB RAM for markdown files it's... it's... more than annoying.

do you use encryption ?
Just received 2 SSD for OS+Apps and 2 HDD (2x the size of the SSDs) for backups. I will use Debian 12 to serve a few VMs and i'm thinking on using btrfs with RAID1 and encryption for the set of SSDs and for the set of HDDs. I'm thinking on using a non-encrypted boot partition and md for swap and the rest of the drives for encrypted raid1 with btrfs. Any hints or suggestion for the storage layout ?
Let me know your hits to choose an UPS for a (small) homelab. Your hints are appreciated.

Obsidian is a great piece of software, as a very nice community, but the answer to your question, to me it's Logseq.
