I don't know if you have this in your town, but there's an old school shoe store near me that has actual sales people who know their stuff. They've never led me astray.
My current ones are Ecco boots, but I credit the store more than the boots.

It's not a very very long time. Rain will wash it away. However in a desert, you're right.

I wouldn't discount rust. I've had to change my rotors more frequently than pads due to rust (I drive a Prius). That said, I live in a state that oversalts their roads more than an amateur chef.

If you can't afford the space or money for a mortar and pestle, I maintain that a cheap coffee grinder gets you 80% of the way for 80% less effort. Can't make pesto with it though :-(

Consider the source. Pretty sure this is propaganda.

Microsoft doesn't make the bulk of their money from average joes. They make it from companies using their products. But they're not making as much money from companies using really old hardware and versions of windows. Plus one of the biggest IT gripes is getting users to update their OS. This could mitigate much of those problems

Just an old school Bonavita with Melitta style filters. I can't appreciate the added subtleties of pre-infusion or even pour-over over a good drip.
Back when I did cold brew, I just used a French Press, which works pretty well.

Anyone else here entertained that this is a meme from a movie where they decided to stop paying someone to send the message that they were fired?

I've wondered whether bots cost Reddit money since they use their expensive precious API

By stepping down in moderating and letting it get crappy, it will induce more people to leave, thinking "this sub has gone to shit"

Doesn't it usually take them a while to figure out it's unmoderated? Even longer if it's badly moderated?
I was thinking that this could be the way to truly kill a sub. Let it descend to the noise, the chaos, the spam, and the hatred. Maybe do the least bit to stem claims that it's unmoderated. If people are interested in devaluing Reddit, it seems like a good place to start

Yes. 1000% for some of the NSFW subs I used to enjoy
Taylor Swift is playing at Acrisure. If Ticketmaster can't handle her fan traffic, I'm not sure our tunnels will fare very well.
This can't be the first yinzer post on Lemmy. Won't you be my neighbor?
