I’ve been using LibreWolf for a while now. Seems to receive updates from upstream faster than any other fork. Working quite well for me.

I did the same thing also assuming kernel drivers were more mature. I’ll let someone else beta test for me.

There's just no point in criticizing the Republican party. Their supporters don't use forums like this. They almost never leave their respective bubbles. It's the equivalent of screaming into the void. Republicans bad, Democrats good is one of the oldest forms of online circlejerking. It's a complete waste of time and effort. Yes, they would likely handle the genocide as poorly or worse than Democrats have so far. If that's your only point, you're only bringing attention to something that everyone already knows. It's so obvious that it doesn't even need to be said.
The two mainstream political parties in the US exist on an extremely narrow spectrum. Both are neoliberal in philosophy and generally right of center economically. Only the Democrats lean left in social issues, but I find any support there to be completely nullified and undermined by their demented economic policies and rabid war hawking.

Democrats only want a little genocide, as a treat. Gee, I wonder why people don’t want to vote for that? Must be those darn Russian bots.

The over policing thing is so true. I’ve gotten messages from techhub.social mods with warnings about making jokes that even hinted at breaking one of their precious rules. Like if I did something wrong, ban me I guess. It’s pretty clear I didn’t and the mod just wanted to flex his power towards me.

I have connected my TV to the Internet a few times just to update the firmware. Then I turned it right back off again. Not sure if this was actually a great call or not, but I couldn’t help myself. Probably should’ve checked to see if I could do it with a USB drive at least lol.

Signal has been pretty throughly audited by data security experts. It’s as secure or more so than Telegram. It uses end to end encryption, same as Telegram. If you’re crossing the border, unlink your device, delete the app, and relink it later. Your account can’t be restore via SMS. I’m not sure what you mean by that. I’m sure my government can collect any data they want if they’re determined enough, but Signal is about as secure as it gets if you’re talking civilian digital communication.

If I am depressed, I’m managing it well enough to function. I don’t take any medications or do therapy or anything like that. I probably have some unhealthy habits I’ve developed over time, but overall things are going okay I guess.

I’ve had bus drivers take the wrong route. Then refuse to stop when I asked so I could just walk to my transfer. Ended up needing to walk over a mile because they told me I’d have to wait for the next stop. It was so infuriating I don’t even blame people for not asking. I submitted a complaint about it later.

Do you have a plan on how you’d do version controlling on Arch? It’d be annoying to upgrade, something breaks, and you can’t easily roll back.

I’ve never had Debian or Arch completely break, but have had my share of annoying bugs with both of them. Biggest issue I kept having with Debian is it’d just get stuck and wouldn’t update. Think it was 12.4 I had this problem with. Way more annoying than anything Arch did to my system. I’m using Fedora now days.
Same issue as this person: https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=156345. That’s not even mentioning the 12.3 debacle which I was thankfully spared of.

I saw this post about how kbin.social is now federating: https://reddthat.com/post/32223 When I click the example link provided there, !RedditMigration@kbin.social I get an error message. 404: couldnt_find_community What am I doing wrong? I'd like to subscribe to some communities over there if possible.
