Glad you appreciated the review! Tchia has been so relaxing for me. Once I figured out the flipping mechanics, whenever I can get the slightest height, I try and mistyflip off of stuff, usually landing on my head. Lol.
My one gripe is that I cant play the songs AND read the subtitles at the same time. I can do the listen only mode, but I want to play the songs!

I guess this means the shortage is definitely over. Steam deck is getting a discount also, so I finally sent back my launch one for RMA for a dead pixel. I waited forever because I didn't want to wait months for a replacement due to supply constraints. I've had no issues with my launch PS5, this thing is engineered very well.

My friend plays it and really likes it. He compared it to Ghost of Tsushima in the way that in lethal mode "you do as much damage as your enemies as they do to you", kind of way. Hard but fair and tactical like a real fight. Idk if it's actually as hard as GoT on lethal, but that should give you an idea. I think every time you die your character ages as part of the story also, which may affect combat. It's been on my to-buy list for a while

It's a known bug that is being worked on
I would like to be able to see full size images from the post listing page. This can somewhat be achieved by using the Full Width View Type but some taller images dont show fully. Additionally, I prefer the Card View as seeing where one post starts and another begins is easier, however in the Full Width View Type this is difficult. I propose adding a horizontal dividing line between posts for this view type. Here is a picture from the thunder app to illustrate what I am requesting. You can see that the full image is shown and there is a horizontal line above and below the post:  And this is what the same post looks like in Connect with Card View (cannot see the full image):  And this is the same post in Connect with Full Width View (can see more of the image but still not all of it, and there is no clear delineation between posts):  If there is a better way to put feature Requests please let me know and I can make the request there. I didn't see a GitHub link when I searched for one.

I think the release of TotK on switch is them preparing to double dip, a la GTA5 or BotW to some degree. I bet they wait for TotK sales to slump before they launch a new console and potentially a switch 2 version of TotK.
And I'm ready for a new Mario kart. Super bored of 8, mainly because I beat it all on Wii U, then again on switch. So by the time dlc came out I was meh on it. What I really want out of a MK9 is a double dash mode. DD is my favorite MK game of all time. I think at least adding it as a game mode makes perfect sense and is my dream feature!

The remote mod bug is fixed as long as your community is on 0.18. My community was suffering from it and it is fixed now. As for other issues, I'm not sure. I have one mod account on lemmy.world and one mod account on lemmy.ml, the only thing I've noticed is that the feeds look very different. Different number of posts and comments and upvotes depending on what account I'm looking at it with. Lemmy.world is still on 0.17.4 while lemmy.ml is on 0.18.0. So I'm hoping when everyone is on 0.18 this should resolve itself.
If your community is not on 0.18 yet, just avoid remote modding for now to avoid the bug.

Devs will be addressing the submitted captcha fix after the weekend (they said so on GitHub). So I hope 0.18.1 drops early next week. They wanted 0.18 released before 3rd party apps die, so I presume having the largest instance holding back will give them a reason to push it before the end of the week.

I think it's more of people wanting to stick with the developers and apps that they have used on reddit. Some of which have been using and supporting for almost a decade. It also means more of an endorsement for Lemmy, as some reddit sync users wouldn't consider Lemmy otherwise. Lastly, a significant number of power users (those that actually post, comment, and otherwise contribute) use third party apps over the official app, meaning that having support for these apps on Lemmy will hopefully bring over quality users and not just a larger quantity users.
That's my take on it, and I am someone very pro open source.

I moderate a community and there are official sources of information that I would like auto-posted when they release. Specifically blogs posts and YouTube videos. I've looked at things like mastofeed and ifttt which I can get working for mastodon, but tweaking those to then post from mastodon to my community leads to clunky posts with the URL not registering properly or being in the title and not the URL field. It also puts @community in the title for every post. Is there anything dedicated for Lemmy out there yet?

I'm not sure if this is just a heavy load issue or a bug or a result of the migration of Lemmy.ml to a new server. But essentially, posts from Lemmy.ml users cannot be seen via other instances. I've tried this with my lemmy.world account and I can't see anything I post from my lemmy.ml account. It was not like this prior to the migration of lemmy.ml to a new server just a few days ago. I checked and lemmy.ml and lemmy.world are still federated. Does anyone know what is going on?

Gross. **What about nsfw subs?** -I don't believe they will work after July 1st since those are limited at the API level for all 3rd party apps, even your custom one. Sorry horndogs ----------------------------------------------------------- **Now for the steps:** 1. Uninstall reddit sync from your phone. 2. Go here and download a clean redditsync apk file (click the blue "DOWNLOAD APK" Button) - This is the APK I used: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/red-apps-ltd/sync-for-reddit/sync-for-reddit-v23-05-03-1718-release/sync-for-reddit-v23-05-03-1718-2-android-apk-download/ 3. Go here and download Revanced Manager APK file and install it. https://github.com/revanced/revanced-manager 5. Go to reddit.com/prefs/aps and go to the bottom where it says "Create Application" (you have to login here to do this, sorry lurkers) 6. Name it whatever you want, select "installed app" and under redirect uri, type http://redditsync/auth then click "create app" 7. After you create the app, you should see it under the title "Developed Applications". Under the name you gave it you should see a random sting of numbers, letters, and symbols. This is your client ID. You will use this in the next step. 8. Using a file manager on your phone, navigate to /sdcard/ and create a txt file titled "reddit_client_id_revanced.txt" 9. Open the text file you just created and paste in your Client ID from step 7. Make sure it is on the top line of the text file with no spaces or indents before or after the ID. 10. Open Revanced Manager on your phone. Select Patcher on the bottom, click "select application", click the "storage" button on the bottom right. Navigate to the location where you installed the clean redditsync apk in step 2. 11. When you select the apk file in step 10, you should see that is has selected 2 patches (change Oauth client ID and Disable ads). Click "Patch" in the bottom right. 12. Allow the patching to occur and read everything on the screen to check for errors. If the Oauth failed to patch, revisit step 8. 13. Click install. Google play will likely warn you, expand the option and click "install anyway", if it asks to scan the app, decline scanning. 14. Launch the application, run through the setup and re-log into your account if you want. 15. Enjoy Reddit Sync beyond July 1st!
