Because our atmosphere is full of oxygen and nitrogen. Oxygen happened to be the chosen option for some reason, probably because nitrogen might not be reactive enough, idk I'm not a biologist or a chemist forget what i said

I wanted to customize Windows 10. Customizing Windows was too hard and unsafe (requiring many "bloated" third party tools).
Then, after seeing some cool themes, I realized Linux is way more customizable. So I tried Linux Mint and now I use NixOS.

Fun tip: if you have a chess board with magnetic pieces, and it can be folded down in half, you can play with it folded to make it so that every time a piece is captured, it has the chance to fall and knock out another piece. It's not a fair game by any means, but it's very funny. Shaking the board slightly can increase the tension, depending on the strength of the magnets.
Here's an image for reference, you play with it folded, but the starting squares are near the floor instead of sideways.

If you want a challenge that may or may not be worth it, try configuring NixOS. And I mean really get into it, try to configure everything using Nix. It's very time consuming but not boring, each configuration varies person to person (i.e the way you organize it) so it can be quite fun if you have the time.
Also nixpkgs (what Nix and NixOS use) has like, all the packages

Sorry for the late response. I don't think the mods should be conflicting, just put them both in the mods folder and see if that works. IIRC Valkyrien Skies is required on both the client and the server.

Is there a way to legally obtain a copy of Minecraft to join "offline" servers with?
Yes! If you already have a legal copy of the game (one that you paid for), Prism Launcher allows you to use an offline account (usually used for singleplayer when your internet is down), which lets you use any username. This is probably a feature in other launchers too.
I host my own Minecraft server and have
online-mode
set to false inserer.properties.
You can set it to true and use EasyAuth to allow offline players to join. This means online players get online UUIDs, and offline players have to log-in using commands and are given an offline UUID. You can also set up a global password, if you trust players won't log-in as someone else.
There's also EasyWhitelist for a name-based whitelist (by default I think whitelists are UUID-based, which probably don't work with offline players).

::: spoiler violent story, cannibalism, gunshot, satire, fbi agent It turns out that "this dude" is a serial killer and cannibal.
Stu, who has been his roommate for the past month, and Angela, who may soon be dead, are both terrified upon realizing this.
The man-eater locks the door, trapping them.
— Well, well, well... look at what we have here! Fresh meat. — he says, menacingly.
Little did the man know that Stu was actually an FBI agent sent to investigate cannibals. Sounds of gunshot are heard from the cannibal's home. Stu saves the day yet again. The end. And everyone clapped, menacingly. :::

Recently, I switched to NixOS and realised that there is no G'MIC plugin package for Krita. There's [this issue](https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/issues/163645) that was last active in October 2023. I was wondering if anyone has managed to install this without using another package manager (such as Flatpak) or installing an AppImage manually, for system reproducibility, and I also don't wanna have two package managers in one system. Ideally, there'd be a wrapper, so you could do something like: ```nix { pkgs, ... }: { programs.krita = { enable = true; gmic.enable = true; gmic.package = pkgs.krita.gmic-qt; }; } ``` Thoughts? Related: is there some kind of guide on these `program.<name>` wrappers? What are they and where are they defined?
