Yeah, actually the wand of corrosion excels if paired with any type of enemy-aggro that beckons the enemies towards the corrosive gas. The sad ghost is an example, paired with its immunity to gases and your ability to control it makes it one of the best pairs with the wand. The living earth is good too, it just doesn't have as much hp.

LMAO, I own one in my current run 😂

Yeah crabs such, but at the same time, good luck finding a transmutation scroll in the early game

Ok, with the spear strat is decent, but I didn't rate the wands on the synergies they have, I just rated them on how good they are by theirselves.
Vencedor 6 days ago • 100%
Nah, that weapon's perfect for triggering enchantments. You aren't doing damage either way, might as well enchant it and try to trigger some enchants if totally need it.

I can't even do 6 challenges 🥲 (haven't tried enough IMO)
Vencedor 6 days ago • 100%
Don't burn upgrade scrolls, they must be really valuable when you can only use T1 armor (for rings and wands) just reset the run if you're playing that seed
Vencedor 6 days ago • 100%
Are you insane? (It's a joke, said joyfully, no harm intend) Lightning is the wand that has the most base damage of them all and that scales the most (with frosting) with upgrades. It is objectively the best wand to upgrade for highest damage per shot. And, yeah, I might've been too tough with grass wand (as said) but it's definitely not A tier

You get half their normal xp and all the items appear indeed below. Except if a potion, then I'll shatter below

I am trying it right now and, against what I thought, it's actually pretty good and fun. Sure, it has its risks, but it is hella fun, and makes the gameplay way more active and entertaining.

Don't remember right now who the last ally I am missing was. I am sure I'll go: "oooohhh, yeah I'm dumb" the second someone reminds me who this was.

No, not everything. For example: Ring of Elements, arguably Ring of Tenacity, Ring of Wealth while ascending, Sandals of Nature, Alchemist's toolkit, for some reason the Amulet of Yendor, blocking enchantment (it's a joke, it's trigger chance is really rare and it gives low shield for a small amount of turns. If you upgrade the weapons to make it more effective you won't need the shield, enemies just die) and all the shards (free achievement or gold)
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
Yes, a shaman dropped it, thats certain, but it couldn't be while I was ascending, it must've been while descending; as monsters while ascending drop no loot. The chat log of an enemy dying isn't related, as that happened while ascending. I must've missed it while descending.

Just dodge the attacks. They are more punishing but avoidable. Once you have enough skill, you won't need to resist them, because you'll just not get hit
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
If it wasn't fundamentally flawed and just putting those upgrades in your armor making the damage reduction not only more effective but also giving you the possibility of having a better ring (literally every other ring) maybe I would like it too.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
Then haste is the most defensive one no contest if you count it.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
It's literally the only... wait, excluding elements, I almost forgot that clowny clown ring.. only defensive ring without counting clown clowny ring in the game, ofc it's the best defensive ring in the game.

Even then, just using those upgrades on a plate armor is better

There's a strength pot every 2 floors, excluding boss rooms. So, technically, yes, there're 2 pots before each boss, distributed as I mentioned.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
That's my tier list, maybe a bit outdated (have thoughts of putting higher both wand of transfusion and grassy grass, and I don't know where to put corrupted, maybe I lower it of tier...) What challenges do you play with, by the way?
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
This ring so useless, the berserker build is the only idea anyone has had with this ring tbh
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
And you get like 10 turns of invincibility. The healing of a blessed ankh is of like 25% your hp, and the heal of an unblessed ankh is of 100% + whole saturation back. This had nothing to do with the invincibility, just pointing it out.

Sometimes my dumbass pops 2 on the same floor because I refused to drink healing pots. But yeah, I don't even bless them now. Seem like a waste of water. Always have them as a flex, and to be safe (although my +13 plate armor does a pretty good job helping me with that)

The warrior's the class I found the most complicated and unintended strategies with, bruh. Duelist really seems super straightforward for me.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
My playstyle is the same, except I refuse to use any SoUp on anything that isn't a plate armor (if I don't have one already at at least +12) So, if I die because of lack of armor, I call it bad rng and start another run. lol
Also, there's a guaranteed potion of strength between rooms 1 and 2, there aren't usually many potions at that point, I usually just drink them. And, don't waste intuition stone's uses on identifying SoUp while playing warrior, just check between rooms 3 and 4 what scroll you got 2 or 3 of, use it and put it on your armor. It will be attached to the seal. Ez identification. For the rest of the potions and scrolls just clear the whole room you are currently in, including puzzles and convert into alchemical energy all the potions, they will be, in the latest beta, identified. For scrolls convert them first into stones (see if you can use those) then, if the stones are useless to you, convert em into energy. Then you can save your stones of identifying for rings, scrolls you suspect might be of transmutation and potions you suspect can be of experience; and saving too that shop's scroll of identify to use em into the now-not-automatically-identified-by-warrior weapons! Or rings.

The bug has already been fixed, I saw it on the changelog. I play every single run I intend to win with the warrior (at least 30, give or take), and I've actually won little games with the duelist (like 2, if even that) . I just focus a lot more on armor, I like armor focused playstyle. And warrior's the best for that. I guess that's why I prefer warrior. Funny story: When Evan made it so warrior's talent of identifying weapons and armor got nerfed to only armor because of the duelist having the weapons focus and all of that, I got angry at the duelist because it seemed too weak and now even stealing the best talent from my favourite character (almost literally, because it took it away from the warrior), dunno, I don't use her.

Kinda (actually kinda not) but instead of scaling with your strength, it scales with your hp. With how low your health percentage is.

It's the joke ring. It stands in the joke ring corner, among with elements ring.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
But even with upgrades and at low health, it will never reduce damage under 1 hp, so you'll always take damage... Which isn't a good combo when at 1 hp. That's why this ring is a very bad idea. Unless you are going with Faith Is My Armor, you could just do yourself a favor and dump those upgrades into your armor; which will reduce the damage that you take to 0 hp; and you can stay at high levels of health for your armor to be effective.

I always go for the chest except if in the endgame, and there's a transmutation scroll on it. I am rephrasing that. I always go for the scroll if it is the transmutation one, and in the end game, I don't really care about what to choose. But in the early game I pick the chest 100% of the time. A free ring / wand / artifact is always more handy than a potion of freezing, a potion of paralytic gas and a scroll of recharging.
Vencedor 1 week ago • 100%
Maybe I wouldn't pick it over living earth, magic missile or prismatic light, but in every other scenario I'd choose the other wand. I'm currently debating with myself if I'd pick it over grassy grass wand or not.

Nah. Wand of blastwave best wand no contest, wand of corrosion second best wand when upgradeless (behind wand of blastwave) and best wands when you have lots of upgrades to pour into are both lightning and freezing, preferably ligntning, as freezer deals less damage if an enemy is chilled and has less base damage. Those are the two wands that have the best scaling with upgrades. Another fine option if upgrading is disintegration. Not as optimal as those last two, but still has decent scalling.
Discovered that there was a Wand of BlastWave lying in the floor of floor 14 right as I was ascending with the amulet... Not that I needed it (got a good armor early on and just upgraded it and... Well, if you've ever played SPD with a +13 plate armor you know that hard doesn't enter on its synonyms list) but still, the best wand in the game just laying around? A gnoll probably dropped it after I killed it without even noticing...
With a +0 Mimic tooth too, right as I was making a run to kill the ebony mimic to add it to my bestiary. Also, it is over a strength potion and I think I don't have enough gear to kill it 🥲
The sickle isn't upgraded, btw.
The higher on the list the better the enemy. The more in the left the better. Height has priority over length, tho. I am ranking Yog-Dzewa as if it didn't spawn any minions at all. Ranked those separately. What are your thoughts?
