**Solution**: I just had to create the file I wanted to install Pi-Hole on my server and noticed that port 53 is already in use by something. Apparently it is in use by systemd-resolved: ``` ~$ sudo lsof -i -P -n | grep LISTEN [...] systemd-r 799 systemd-resolve 18u IPv4 7018 0t0 TCP 127.0.0.53:53 (LISTEN) systemd-r 799 systemd-resolve 20u IPv4 7020 0t0 TCP 127.0.0.54:53 (LISTEN) [...] ``` And the solution should be to edit `/etc/systemd/resolved.conf` by changing `#DNSStubListener=yes` to `DNSStubListener=no` according to [this post](https://discourse.pi-hole.net/t/update-what-to-do-if-port-53-is-already-in-use/52033) I found. But the `/etc/systemd/resolved.conf` doesn't exist on my server. I've tried `sudo dnf install /etc/systemd/resolved.conf` which did nothing other than telling me that `systemd-resolved` is already installed of course. Rebooting also didn't work. I don't know what else I could try. I'm running Fedora Server. Is there another way to stop `systemd-resolved` from listening on port 53? If not how do I fix my missing `.conf` file?

I'm a beginner in networking things but due to my ISP I can only open a certain range of ports in my router to be accessible from the outside of my network (something like ports 11000-11500). That means I can't open port 443 to access my reverse proxy from the outside. Is it possible to redirect all traffic that's coming from one of the ports in the range to port 443 of my server? I haven't found that possibility in my router (Fritzbox 7530) so is there a way to do this on my server (running Fedora Server)?

I've tried every tutorial I could find. From symlinking the desired terminal to gnome-terminal, or using the update-alternatives command to using the gsettings command to set the default terminal. Nothing works. What is the definitive way to set the default terminal for this GUI action? And why is this so hard to do?! I'm on Fedora if it's relevant.

Androcur 10mg (which contains cyproteronacetate) is being discontinued by Bayer because it isn't economical for them to produce anymore. I hate it. It's the anti androgen that's pretty much the standard for feminizing hormone therapy here in Germany and I believe even in Europe. Do you keep them, destroy/delete them, lock them away? What are you doing with your photos of your old self? Personally I'm a bit torn. On one hand I want to keep them because they are still memories, on the other hand I never want to see them again. So I will probably lock them away/archive them somewhere. But what about you?

Could the design and/or placement of the separate up- and downvote score be improved? It would be nice to have them where the main score is shown on posts and comments instead of in comment/post info which is very small and not where you look at first. When I saw the setting I was happy it exists but pretty disappointed that it doesn’t change the main score display of posts and comments. Or am I just overlooking that setting?

Is there a PDF viewer/reader that supports JavaScript like Adobe Reader? For example for D&D I use the MorePurpleMoreBetter character sheet that uses tons of JavaScript to automate many things. Right now I'm using the Adobe Reader snap package that runs it via Wine.

The only thing that's missing from the new navigation layout is in my opinion an easily accessible "Frontpage" button like there was in the old navigation layout. So I made a pull request to re add the Frontpage, Settings and Explore buttons back into the sidebar for easier access.

Just to have some conversation here I'm curious how you chose your name if you've already chosen one and what the story behind it is? And if you haven't chosen your name yet, maybe people are able to help you decide. As for me it was always pretty clear which name I would choose because a few years before even realising I'm trans much less coming out I asked my mum what name I would have gotten if I was born a girl. She told me that I always successfully hid my genitals on every ultrasound picture (kind of prophetic in hindsight) so my parents had to choose a name for both possibilities. And thus a name was already chosen for me that fit perfectly. 🥰 I'm curious to hear your stories!

I have the an extension installed for Firefox and I see the green dot under my extension menu on every website visit and everytime I reload a website indicating that it asks for permission to read data on that website again. When I hover over it it tells me that I can allow it for this visit and the cog wheel menu has the option "only when clicked" for "extension can read and write data" ticked. Clicking on that option does nothing. How do I give the permission permanently? It's annoying to have to click that everytime.

Why was "Profile", "Inbox" and "Saved" switched with "Home"? On a big screen "Home" is all the way in the top right corner even though it is an action that is used way more than viewing your profile, inbox and/or saved posts/comments? And there is no reason to have the menu that is accessed by your profile pic to be in the opposite corner. IMO this is all very unintuitive. At least return the home menu point to the left column menu. Please. It feels like these changes were mainly done for mobile and desktop was a bit forgotten.

After getting fed up with TrueNAS (after it borked itself for the third time and I would have had to set it up AGAIN) I decided to learn Ansible and write a playbook to setup my homeserver that way. I wanted to share this playbook with you in case someone might find it useful for their own setup and maybe someone has some tips on things I could improve. This server will not be exposed to the public/internet. If I want to access a service on it from outside my home network I have Wireguard setup on my router to connect to my home network from anywhere. Keep in mind that I'm relatively new to sysadmin stuff etc so don't be too harsh please 😅
