Tetris & Dr. Mario does not save high scores. No battery save, so when you power off the console, high scores are wiped.
But there's a hack you can apply (to the PAL rom) to make it save high scores!

So it only comes with one controller, it isn't actual hardware, it comes with ten games (pretty sure all the Atari Flash back games had more), and I'm pretty sure even people nostalgic for Atari games will admit they're too basic and archaic to bother with these days.
Eh.

Vanilla: Straight out of the box, normal vanilla. You can add sprinkles, and it's still vanilla.
French Vanilla: Technically not vanilla anymore, it's named after the French way of making ice cream. But it's close enough. When you give someone french vanilla ice cream and say it's vanilla, they won't get mad.
Chocolate: This is not vanilla. It is chocolate. Clearly different.
Rocky Road: Oh fuck, we added too many mods and now it's crashing constantly.

Define "meaningful way". What about resource packs? They change how the game looks drastically, but it's purely visual. What about performance mods? Higher and lower FPS definitely impact one's movement and accuracy with a mouse.
Pumpkinbot 1 year ago • 88%
Literally, it means no mods.
But sometimes performance mods are allowed.
Or sometimes certain launchers are allowed.
Sometimes texture packs aren't.
Or shaders are.
Or playing with keepInventory on or doFireTick off isn't.
I have no goddamn clue anymore.

I'd love to be able to play Kingdom Hearts II, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy...Maybe in the near future. We're already seeing a big bump in console power right now.

Same, honestly. No PC atm, just my little RP2+, though my right stick is wiggly and R1 doesn't work anymore. ;u; Considering getting the RP2S just because it fixes all the issues I have with the 2+, and it's still super cheap. RP3+ doesn't have magnetic hall sticks, and that's huge for me.
Steam Deck would be sick, but it's pricey as all hell. Maybe the price will go down if they release a 2 Steam 2 Deck.

Kaze, I take it? Haven't seen the video yet, your comment is my only context, but I guarantee it's Kaze. Dude is a goddamn genius. He optimized SM64 to run at 60 FPS on actual hardware, and made it look better.

Honestly, I appreciate the Virtual Boy. It was ahead of it's time, both positively and negatively. The 3D was a sort of prototype for the 3DS' technology, and it worked well, especially for the mid-90s. Having a 32-bit console you can (kind of) carry with you was a dream back then.
The only issue was having to make so many concessions due to the cost of the 3D technology. 2bpp display? Bright red? Giant-ass brick you have to tape to your head? Bleh.

Pros: Your Virtual Boy can be safely carried without risking damaging it or losing parts.
Cons: You own a Virtual Boy.
I'm kidding, this is neat. c: Always love seeing people taking care of their older systems.

Whenever dreams take a turn for the fucky, I just close my eyes in the dream and just...imagine going back in time for a "redo". Often, the same thing will happen, so if it's more stubborn, I'll close my eyes and imagine something else happening. I don't know how else to describe it, but...I mean, it's really just that simple. And it's not like I'm always lucid dreaming when I do it, either.
I remember one time, I actually experienced sleep paralysis. My eyes were cracked open, I could see the chair I was sleeping in, and the person at the receptionist's desk (was waiting for some appointment), but I couldn't move. I didn't see any freaky demon shit or panic, I just went "Oh, shit, this is sleep paralysis, huh?"
I tried moving my limbs, but the best I could do was a weak finger twitch...until I "imagined" myself lifting my arm. I just thought of the action, the motion of my hand moving from it's resting place on my leg to a spot in the air, and it worked. But I was still asleep. Wack.

I can get that "wait, this makes no sense, I must be dreaming!" vibe a fair few times a week, but I never know what to do once I reach that state, because then it just feels like...thinking, lol. And I prefer the random bullshit my brain comes up with by itself.

Yeah, I don't have a spare $300-500 on me.
Plain and simple, I'd love to see and share custom characters for Crystal Clear (through the [injector](https://inject.sigkill.tech/character). This is one I made, but I can't say it's fully custom, as I edited Jasmine's front sprite for this character's front sprite, and got lazy with the trainer card sprite and just copied the front sprite.
