I have both rostered, should I start Kittle or La Porta for week 3?
Kittle has been letting me down, but la porta has been doing work on my bench. Im scared if i switch it up now, kittle will finally pop off.

The irony comment is referring to them making that statement while on reddit.

Yep! You definitely have to be patient, and clear the areas as you go but eventually through meeting different groups and helping them, you can get off the main starter island. Theres a lot more world out there from what i can tell. Im still in the first town you come to when you get to the mainland.

For real! Im just off of the main starting island DOS2 and feel like there so much more story to see. Really loving everything about the game. And also feeling FOMO about BG3 at the same time. Ill get it and play it after or at the same time. Well see!

As someone who plays more mobile than desktop, i am really excited for this! seems like having the hot key feature customizable will allow for easier bossing and questing on mobile.

They mention in the article a rework for the entire chat area so hopefully it cleans that up for you.

Sorry, just realized ruud responded to my question further after posting this here. Seems like some type of bug. Wefwef dev is looking into it.
Not a karma *removed*, and its not the end of the world, but i just noticed my post score dropped down to 0 today. Checked it in wefwef app too and its showing the same bug. Curious if any others here have noticed this as well?
FlaxPicker 1 year ago • 100%
Its not on the default lemmy-ui on the web, but many third party apps for lemmy are showing total comment and post “scores” on user’s profile pages. Not exactly sure how they are calculating that, but ive noticed that those scores were wiped for at least my account today. Again, not a big deal, just thought it was strange how that would happen. It is showing like this in memmy as well as wefwef so it’s definitely some data out in the lemmy verse that went bad. it is starting to “count” stuff from comments ive made today though so, who knows.

Not that it really matters, but did anyone else notice their comment/post points get deleted after this update? Seems odd.

Is this because most admin/mod features don’t exist in the apps yet?

Thanks for the info! This is probably the most annoying bug in wefwef right now for me. Good to know the devs are aware and working on something. <3

Hopefully that’s on Jerboa’s list of feature improvements. But yea, I’m pretty sure on the web and other apps the gifs play just fine. They also play in the timeline without needing to open it.

Gifs links to imgr seem to work just fine. If you check my posts you can see one. Posted through Memmy and it automatically uploaded the gif i made to imgr and worked flawlessly.

This is mostly a question for the developers here. What makes some links show an image vs others that don’t? When I navigate to ones that don’t, the web pages have images.
I see the person silhouette with the heart, im assuming that is the subscriber count, but what is the eye symbol representing?
The development speed of the Memmy app from just a few weeks back has been lightning fast. I absolutely love how far it has come in just a short time and just based on the issues raised on github and responses from the devs, theres a lot more in store to improve the app. Maybe not everyone is aware, but one of the original developers of one of Memmy’s “competitor” apps Mlem stepped away from the project today due to burn out and feeling like their contributions weren’t good enough compared to more experienced devs that had joined. They were also apparently getting mean dms from users complaining about the app. Just want to thank the devs here for all the work they are doing and remind them that they don’t owe us shit. If you need to slow down for something in life that happens or just need a break, then do it. Well still be here adding issues and improvement ideas and enjoying the app.
I’ve accidentally signed in twice, once using the username, and once using the email and it seems to work for both actually, so ide like to just remove the email one.

Wanting to hide some of the nsfw instances or communities, but keep the nsfw visible option turned on. Theres some news videos that are sometimes nsfw and i don’t want to filter those out, but at the same time, I don’t want to see a random nude when im scrolling through all, on the couch with my family around. Anyone know what to do? Haha If this is the wrong place to ask, I apologize! Any idea where i should be asking this? Edit: So you can block communities on a personal level, but not instances. The ability to block instances on a personal level could be a future lemmy feature. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2397
Thoughts? Seems like we are one of the only bigger instances with open sign ups still as well. Edit: didn’t mean to start any instance tribalism. Like others have said, its not a competition, and its better that users are spread across instances than piling into one. Just think it’s interesting to watch the different instances grow and change and see where people end up congregating.
