They will definitely come after humans if they are hungry enough and their pack is large enough. It's around that season that they start getting a bit braver because they are hungry coming out of winter and it's breeding season. Usually they run after the first shot, but sometimes they don't notice you dropped one and they keep coming until the follow-up shots. It's not out of the ordinary to bag multiple coyotes in one spot.

In the late Winter/early spring they start getting a bit braver and start moving further into the cow pastures. That's when we have to cull the pack to keep them away from the cattle.

You've obviously never been surrounded by a pack of coyotes or hogs.
.223 is also an excellent caliber for that size game.

Initial reports are saying he was on the roof for several minutes. I'm sure more/better details will come in the following days.
As for the range, 125 yds is WELL within effective range for AR-15s and .223/5.56. Personally, mine is sighted for 220 yd so the ballistic markings are accurate out to 600 yds. There's a nearby 500 yd range that people frequently take their AR-15s to for longer range shooting. This is also considered "medium range" as far as rifles go.

This wasn't really a discussion about whether or not people need fast food. The main issue is that fast food places are selling low quality food options at high prices compared to restaurants that are selling higher quality foods with personal service.
I don't want to spend $15-20 on a meal that just tastes like different textures of salt. At that price, I expect some quality food, and fast food prices clearly don't match the quality they're providing.
Dettweiler42 3 months ago • 97%
That's just it, though. A lot of fast food places have been pricing themselves up to the point where they're meeting the price of proper sit-down restaurants. The only thing they have to offer at this point is convenience. It's just not worth buying fast food any more.

The call screener is a godsend and it's the absolute most used feature I rely on. Many evenings I wake up for work and see that my phone stopped 5-10 spam calls that would have ruined my sleep.

Humble Bundle is a big contributor to my unplayed games. There's usually only a few games in a bundle that I'm interested in at a good price, and the test I'll eventually get to... Maybe when I retire... If I get to retire...

Let the bed cool down all the way, ya little gremlin! If you absolutely can't wait, put the bed on a tile floor and your print should pop off on it's own pretty quick.

Everything past the dotted line is the point where the material won't go back to its original shape.
Example: You can push on the hood of your car all you want, it'll flex, and go back to its original shape (elastic deformation); but stand on it, and it'll dent (plastic deformation).

Beatport offers some very high quality streaming; but since it's oriented more towards DJs, the discovery aspect of it is pretty lacking. If you only want to listen to the specific songs you pick, it's pretty good. Plus, you can buy songs in FLAAC format.

My only hangup is this would be the second chance at getting anti tank mines that we could fail. They must be important for whatever is coming next if they're offering them up again so soon. The airburst missiles were off the table for quite a while when we failed the first time on those

Generals was really fun. The C&C series really started to decline once EA went balls deep on what was left of Westwood studios for the games after that.
3D is great. I just don't trust most AAA companies to make a decent RTS these days.

I've been using Creality's hyper PLA. It's pretty good quality and my printer/slicer combo has presets that are 95% what I want (I tweak the print and bed temps as needed). I'm using an Ender 3 V3 KE for reference.

You take it every day. It's a neural reuptake inhibitor, so it needs to build up in your system.
For me, it's not a fast fix like a stimulant would be. It just takes the edge off of my symptoms, make them easier to manage, and makes it easier to do stuff. In fact, the biggest thing I've noticed is the effect it has on executive dysfunction.
Atomoxetine (straterra) is a slow burn. It takes at least a few weeks to start noticing any effects. I haven't noticed any side effects, other than some trouble sleeping the first week when I first started taking it; but that was because my insurance wouldn't approve me for a lower dosage to have a more graceful "ramp up" period.

It's easy. You cut down the quality of your products rapidly and start being recommended against by the people that used to buy your products.
Corsair used to be good. I enjoyed their products. However, their quality has plummeted over the past few years, and their iCue software is absolutely terrible. It will routinely crash, and completely lock up my keyboard and mouse.

Speaking candidly about business negotiations can harm a good working relationship if you say the wrong thing. You also don't want to say anything that could be perceived as badmouthing the people that hold the keys to your success. He's likely just trying to be careful while being as transparent as possible.

If people had read the bright yellow text above the buy button on the Steam store page or the EULA, the account linking announcement would not have been a surprise.

They didn't ignore it. They shut it off after the first week because Sony's servers were so clogged up, people weren't able to set up their accounts. Plus, they were dealing with all the other server issues. It was only a matter of time before they were going to have to turn it back on.
Not only has the "requires linking a PlayStation Network account" advisory been on the Steam page from the start, but anyone that picked up the game at launch is already linked.
I'm not a fan of the linking; but since I don't own a Sony console, it's just yet another account that serves no purpose to me other than letting me play a couple of games I own on PC.

It's going to be awesome! After chatting with some of the DJs, the walls will be absolutely shaking that night. There's also going to be some pretty wild visuals going on, too.
Come check us out! Psythik is going live from 8-9 PM EST [0100-0200 GMT] and mixing 90's and 00's Trance anthems until 9 PM EST [0200 GMT]. I'll be following him up as DJ Dett from 9-10 PM EST [0200-0300 GMT]. I'll be starting off with some bassy House and working my way up from there! Listen: https://radiolemmy.com/
Honestly one of my favorite sound tracks for space exploration. This game feels like a hidden gem from my childhood that left a hole in my heart until I found Elite: Dangerous. Listening to this soundtrack brings back huge waves of nostalgia for me.
I would like to be able to select "Block Community" from the 3-dot menu on a post, rather than visiting said community before I can block it. It would also be nice to be able to block some things without needing an account on that instance (mostly for using the everything-all view). Just wanted to give some feedback. So far, liftoff is my favorite Lemmy app!
Just saw this place for the first time today. It was spectacular! We walked around most of the day and couldn't see all of it. I highly recommend visiting. The admission was also very cheap, considering the amount of stuff to see. Our toddler absolutely wore herself out today. Also, Elwood's Shack is nearby. The BBQ was fantastic.
I bought lumber for a screened patio, and I need it to dry so I can paint it before construction. It's been sitting in a neat stack in the garage for almost a month now, and some parts still feel damp. I'm afraid that laying them out on the driveway during a sunny day would cause the boards to warp.
Remember, the bigger the gob, the better the job!
Just trying to add some content here. This is a recording of a set that I live-mixed for a VRChat Club somewhat recently. I have plenty of other live sets I can share that mostly focus on heavy bass EDM with live visuals.
Let's get things moving over here! Lately, I stumbled on a good label, and have started to really enjoy some liquid DnB. It's also a nice segue from the Dubstep and Bass House vibe I've been riding for a long time. Magnetosphere by Unglued has been stuck in my head for almost a week now.
