Ender. Happened back in the days with a 3v2, the stepper drivers on the original mainboard overheat, causing it to 'miss' steps.
Replaced the MB with an improved version, tuned the vRef and never had any issues again.
You might look into tuning the vRef for your machine.

Inclusive tax, but exclusive service fee, handling fee, network fee, administrative fee, etc. You get the picture.
We are getting screwed by the energy companies and the infrastructure companies. Everyone wants a piece of the pie.
At least (some of us) are getting money back, when your solar production exceeds your consumption. But that is going to change soon.

Dynamic pricing contract. Planning when to charge the car, running dishwasher etc is small effort.
Adding 5KW solar panels and a change of contract, from >€500 to something like €75. Family of 4, pretty heavy usage.

Asked several to write a c implementation of some basic networking stuff.
ChatGPT: needed to refine my input, got reasonable output. Complete answers, just compile and run.
Google: the output was just a few snippets, nothing to be used as-is.
MSFT: terrible output, and -no suprise here- the compiled code crashed with null pointer references etc. The worst answers ever.
For simple problems (programming low-level microcontrollers), my go to will be ChatGPT everytime.
Google should get it's act together, Microsoft can exit the stage.

Yes this.
Check out the don't vacuum me site and pick a 'hackable' robot. Add Valetudo and you're set.
Using a Roborock S6 here, started by home assistant when no one is home.
For the occasional jobs/accidents, we use a Hyundai cordless. Really robust, easy to clean and properly designed.

That's my understanding.
And I think a small fee to get out of the googlyclaws. Paying $100 once, to host immich for the family and supporting development is a no brainer to me.
But I understand not everyone has the resources or is willing to donate.

Maybe you don't need to 'fix' your retraction settings?
If it looks good enough, why bother?
BOFH666 3 months ago • 100%
Wasn't aware of the test (SuperSlicer user here), and found this.
The tower has multiple notches, each one corresponding to a different retraction length. By looking at the tower after printing, you can see how each retraction length affects the print quality.
So check your surface finish and select the retraction value with the best looks.

Esp32Cam with esphome running a webserver, add frigate in the mix and you can have dozens of cameras for just a few bucks.
Completely open source (apart from the espressif wifi radio stack, but who's counting) and low cost.
Yes, quality of the camera will never compete with commercial stuff, but this is way more fun. Add as much cameras as your frigate instance allows..

Blowtorch will heat this up way too hot.
Try to get it to a high enough temperature to insert filament to do a cold pull and repeat..
Electrical heat gun (paint stripper) is hot enough. Gas based torches will change the stiffness of your material and you will regret it.

NetApp makes storage devices, just like Dell's DataDomain.
Looks like the ad is referring to a ST6000NM0034, a drive from Seagate. Personally, I like to stay away from that brand as far as possible.
Have had good experiences with WD.

Thanks for the pointer.
This is really huge, but people don't quite understand that yet.
If this wasn't caught, every system -running public sshd- could be hacked or abused/misused.
And I completely agree with the last words, corporate should pay foss projects!

Clever and nice touch of adding the drain.

Checkout https://www.robonect-shop.de/ this is an add on for those devices and unlocks nice features.

Definitely recommended.

Alrighty, So your system knows the exact situation and _still_ is slowing down my bike, just at the moment I need to accelerate to avoid being overrun by that large truck heading into me. How stupid are these folks? We've got rules, when people don't follow those rules, you fine them. Case closed. No system to prevent a bike speeding, teach people to obey the law.
Check the official [website](https://www.espressif.com/en/news/ESP32-C61_SoC?9) for specifications. Although I am very happy with the current devices in the 2.4Ghz band, wifi-6 might be a nice improvement.
