I've seen a few friends using them and right now it appears they all use a limit of 1or 2 filters. If you want to filter for nonsmoking and no pets (as a random example) that's all you get, plus age range.

Now, if you're into open relationships you can't filter out monogamous people or the other way around. So now you switch out your smoking filter for relationship status and you're getting a ton of people who smoke.

I have no data to back this up but i fully believe the algorithm tries to make it as inconvenient as possible for you to find anyone to match with including hiding people who've already liked you from your matches

I've worked in a lot of different schools since the start of the pandemic. I think I've seen fewer than 5 masked teachers in the past year. I'm trying to specifically remember but I can't.

Another grim thing i heard i think on the death panel podcast was that one of the reasons recent strains of COVID seem "less deadly" is because most of the people who were at risk of dying to a single COVID infection are already dead. That was a big wake up call for me to get my shit together honestly.

I can barely manage my THC consumption enough to keep it relatively stable and i don't have to fight the urge to buy it every time I buy gas or groceries.
