i think the federation is not quite working properly here and the posts are not syncing with the other lemmy instances. i wonder if its a quirk of this lemmy instance, or if it somehow is just because there arent many people on this instance and it would work like this on an ordinary lemmy instance anyways i like the emojis this one has. it also reminds me of some forum sites i've seen before

Yet another test thread. I think I need to try standing up a lemmy instance with this frontend, just to have a closer look at it. Hi, I'm new here! I'm Enrique, and I'm from Spain. I'm planning to host a spanish-speaking instance of LemmyBB in the near future, so expect lots of questions and bugreports  I've been using forums since 1999, I like them a lot, and in spite of today's lack of *sexiness* of this technology, I think the slower pace of forums versus the fast pace of social networks still has its place, and leads to a higher quality of conversation. So, obviously, I think this is a very interesting project  I'm a sysadmin by trade, and for practical purposes, I don't know how to program, so bear that in mind. I know this is a young project, but I'm ok with being an early adopter, and I'm interested in helping this project go forward and mature. I've tried to put an answer on the "Hello world introductions thread", but when I try to answer, I'm greeted by an 500 sever error, so new topic then. I've poked around a little bit, and I've seen that some topics allow answering, and some fail with the 500 error. Best regards.

I watched a little bit of That 70's Show back in '08 and I fucking LOVED the theme song. Kinda curious if anyone here has watched the shows that I'm talking about. I understand that Lemmy is federated and I can create my own instance anytime, but I would like to know the rules of this instance and if they are free speech oriented or fucked over already by the lefty leaders of Lemmy.
According to the description of the forum, the languages Spanish, German and English are allowed here, but that should also be reflected in the board structure. Both the interface and the boards and also the previous posts themselves are only in English. I, as a Spanish speaker, for example, would not see this as an invitation to post in my language.

Welcome to fedibb! So far I havent added anything to the frontpage besides this main community, because it on what the users would like to see. So do you have any suggestions or wishes? It can be either existing communities from federated software, or new communities created here on fedibb for some topics. Languages can be Spanish, German or English.
