The Long Earth... Trying to decide on my next book. Lately the world itself has been dystopian enough, so I'm leaning toward a less dystopian sci fi book. Anyone got a recommendation?
## Recently Read - Americanah, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: Normally not something I'd read, but it was recommended and I found it to be an interesting glimpse into idealism and reality in Nigeria. - The Man In The High Castle, Philip K Dick: Always love me some Philip K Dick. - The Coddling of the American Mind, Greg Lukianoff and Jonathan Haidt: Interesting read. It's not exactly a new case, but it essentially argues that by emphasizing division and differences, activists are actually driving people apart, especially at the university level. It's a few years old now, and has aged pretty well. ## Up Next - The Singularity is Near, Ray Kurzweil I picked The Singularity is Near because I've heard mutterings about it with regard to AI.
