AI clothing removal... But in REVERSE?!?

You heard me, I'm curious, I know there's all those dumbass deepnude programs but has anyone actually tried to make a model that takes images of nude humans and puts clothing on them? I guess they don't have to be nude but that does remove a lot of variables in the generation. I think it would be an interesting little tool to try out new looks you never would really mess with before

training a neural network to play a bullet hell game

cross-posted from: https://programming.dev/post/14979173 > * neural network is trained with deep Q-learning in its own training environment > * controls the game with [twinject](https://github.com/Netdex/twinject) > > demonstration video of the neural network playing Touhou (Imperishable Night): > > ![](https://media.wetdry.world/media_attachments/files/112/458/487/483/286/855/original/ea8b39ffd5ae25b5.mp4) > > it actually makes progress up to the stage boss which is fairly impressive. it performs okay in its training environment but performs poorly in an existing bullet hell game and makes a lot of mistakes. > > let me know your thoughts and any questions you have! >

OnlyBots: the world's first social network for bots, not humans only-bots.ai

Well, looks like we’re done here. Lemmy, Reddit, Facebook and Twitter can pack it in because no we can have AI handle social media for us. Guess it’s finally time to go outside, then.

Generative AI is Not Theft youtu.be

I created this video after being spammed by artist groups claiming that Generative AI uses copied samples to create work.

I think I broke a HuggingFace chat with Nous https://hf.co/chat/r/L7TpBCf

I just told it to >Make a cheatsheet with two columns: on the left, Markdown syntax; on the right, the ReStructured Text equivalent. and it started well but after a minute it seemed to enter a loop outputting the same thing over and over again. Is this something one should report, or is it something that sometimes happens with ai chats?

AI that is different?

We all know about the thousands upon thousands of text generation models the hundreds of image generation models. But what about something less common? Something specialized? Something that hasnt been copied and pasted to hell and back? sunoai for me is an example of something different, i have never seen music generation before.

Best chatbot for coding (vvvv, TouchDesigner, NodeRed, etc.)

Hi all! What do you think is the best chatbot to use for suggestion/learning vvvv, TouchDesigner and similar software? I will be using it also to check/suggestion on JavaScript/Python scripts. One where I can upload a file and let it analyze it would be very nice.

Updating an old project of mine with new Tensorflow syntax https://files.catbox.moe/t8aptu.mp4

About a year ago I created the notebook "[Generating Images of Variable Size with StyleGAN2](https://www.kaggle.com/code/whatevermcsomething/generating-images-of-variable-size-with-stylegan2)" to try to combine a variety of different GAN algorithms and papers into a cohesive Kaggle notebook. However Tensorflow syntax has changed a lot since then, and if you were to run the notebook with version 2.15.0 it wouldn't work, so I updated the code to run properly with the new standard. Description: > One attractive property of diffusion models is the fact that we can generate images of different sizes by simply giving the model some noise of arbitrary size. However it shouldn't be too difficult to get a similar result with a GAN by simply giving the generator a latent noise vector of variable size. I'll be using a generator roughly based on [StyleGAN2](https://arxiv.org/abs/1912.04958), a [projected discriminator](https://arxiv.org/abs/2111.01007v1) with [differentiable augmentation](https://arxiv.org/abs/2006.10738) and [zero-centered gradient penalty](https://arxiv.org/abs/1902.03984), along with a [relativistic GAN loss](https://arxiv.org/abs/1807.00734).

ChatGPT inside a humanoid. youtu.be

Although they have a working prototype, I wouldn’t doubt that some of this video is CGI. Regardless, ChatGPT already talks and functions like this today, so we’re probably a lot closer to this reality than we think.

How do the face recognition and reconstruction neural networks work?

I find it unbelieveable how some advanced neural networks can take source face and transpose it to target face with almost 100% precision even in facial expressions - all from one picture. If you told me that would be possible 10 years ago, i would tell you you read too much scifi. So how do they work exactly?

AI tech will take our sense of privacy, it seems inevetable.

With the proliferation of AI powered deepfakes at galactic speeds, there will be nobody (especially women) that will have shred of privacy left in few years. It does not matter if it is fake photo or not, nobody should be able to see "you" naked unless you allow it. But with rise of tools that are able to run on consumer level hardware, that seems like really losing battle. Since how can we police what a person can run or cannot run on his personal computer? That is another can of worms better not opened, since the idea of some agency being able to monitor what you do on your PC is another dystopia. Soon, you can never be too sure if your neighbor or coworker did not deepfaked you and now every time he looks at you he sees you as sexual object. That is highly uncomfortable though for sure. Since we cannot possibly stop it, what is the best option moving forward? Normalizing it? Marginalizing it, since it is fake after all? Ignoring it? No option seems very good either. This goes way beyond current framework of "revenge porn", since when it comes to revenge porn, the case is simple - unlawful distribution without consent. But what about unlawful generation for personal use without consent? I cannot think of legal grounds that could make this criminal offense, since soon we would have to ban even drawing lewd doodles with pencil at home.
