I am not as convinced that it is a golden goose. Stock markets are insane right now but I really doubt a publicly traded company can really survive with a single chat app (which can easily be copied btw). Same issue that zoom has. You either make some smart purchases or you die in the next ~2 years. Either way - would be interesting to see what happens and discuss it on matrix and the fediverse.

I have never used a Mac in my life and also really like gnome (prefer it greatly to what I've seen from macs) - it just feels a lot more natural and fluid of an approach. It takes some relearning but formation and new habits and I get that not everyone are up for that.

Tasks.org (from fdroid) works with WebDAV for free (you should still donate though if you adopt it). Have been using it for the better part of the past two years for calendar, tasks, contacts. For notes and documents - Nextcloud. Haven't had one issue. Don't know what OS you use - but CalyxOS have a feature where you can backup all your apps to nextcloud/local storage and restore them on a new phone .

It sounds like an event. Maybe 24 hours of only using the fediverse. Nothing else - no search engines, no chat apps. Fediverse only. Ask people searchqueries you would usually search for, no chats would also serve as a bit of a detox, etc.

Hang around doors or grass and melee them. Those magic mobs are the scariest things in the game because they can debuff your equipment but they are quite tame at melee range. If one sees you from a distance either use a displacement stone to get to them, potion of invisibility, yellow seed (which stops time) or one of the artifacts that can help (chains, hourglass). Just don't let them magic attack you. The fireballs and frostballs take double damage from the opposite element - use that and fight the fireballs on water.

While I enjoy the app very much (posting from it right now) and have no idea how horrible the reddit app might be, there are still a few major issues I am experiencing:

1. on pixel3 running calyxos, links won't open (which is the whole point of a link aggregator)
2. There doesn't seem to be an option to edit comments after posting
3. When inside a community, there isn't a button to add a post (or at least I'm not finding it). The big green plus in the center of the screen only appears on the main page and you have to select the community you want to post in by scrolling.

That's the first i'm hearing of those spaces. And duckduckgoing it doesn't really return a clear and susinct explanation. Could you please summarize what they are all about?
