I can kinda see where he’s coming from but I do think they’re some amazing shows in recent times. The market is definitely oversaturated with mediocre to bad shows though

Not really familiar with keeper leagues. But I would definitely keep Puka. He was WR1 on that team even when Kupp was playing. What’s the deadline to decide? Because if Kirk leaves Minnesota, I’d keep Richardson. If not, it’s a toss up either way. I don’t think Ridley is worth keeping. He was way too boom and bust for the Jags and I don’t see him being a number 1 receiver on another team.

Yeah I agree with you on the QB. I do think fields has the talent to be a good starter in this league but it won’t happen with the bears. For OC, I’m just hoping it’s an ambitious hire not some mediocre cheap guy like the bears are used to

When we played decent QBs, we got blown out. Getting diced up by GB should have shown us that whatever progress we thought was made was actually just incremental. A lot of talk shows are saying that we’re guaranteed a top 5 defense next season, but unless we got another edge and a good DC I don’t see us being elite, probably just top 15/10.
It’s the bears we have no clue what we’re doing. I do have hope in Poles, but the Flus decision definitely makes me doubt him a little.
What do you think we’ll do at OC and QB?

So our HC has had all of his coordinators fired for performance and conduct reasons, yet is able to stay on and hire another set of coordinators? Doesn’t make any sense to me

I can’t wait to experience that 0-16 season!

Yet the bears are keeping Eberflus?

This might be the year Tomlin has a losing season. The culture there is terrible

Hopefully this actually causes UEFA to reform, but I’m not hopeful. I’m not a fan of the ESL as I think it’ll be worse for smaller nations and teams to compete in elite competitions they deserve. That’s not to say UEFA does a good job at it either

Yeah this was the game we should have taken the next step and shown we’re not pretenders. I do think we were just coasting on a very good defense and some poor opposition. The offense hasn’t improved. What Flus has done with the defense is impressive, this team is still not executing enough, gets too many penalties, and some poor blocking/coverage assignment, and dubious critical game management. I don’t think he’s a good HC, and as you said is probably capped at a good to very good DC.

Another game we should have won. Defense was lights out until the fourth. Some of the coaching decisions on offense were absolutely awful. Fields played alright and the two big drops really hurt us.
Crazy decision. At least the USL will finally have a chance to be in the CCL

United are playing with no urgency, absolutely shocking

We looked VERY good. Fields idt played the best especially in the first half but was pretty good to great in the second half. We have an outside chance to make the playoffs but I’m looking forward to racking up another couples wins

I agree with you. The inconsistencies also cause a lot of confusion and delay imo. To me at least, it hasn’t made the game worse to watch at all

I think it’s a common sentiment because of a distrust in the organizational structure of the Bears. No coach with potential would be able to grow and flourish here because of compounding issues they can’t control. This might be different now with Poles and Warren but it’s too early to tell. I do think we are making good strides with the new Halas Hall and investing in programs like analytics and advanced scouting.
Yeah I think Caleb Williams is hated on too much. He has flaws for sure, but he is supremely talented. I’d be excited at the prospect of him in a Bears uniform and I think with competent coaching he can be a superstar here. My only worry is the media pressure, there’s been times he just seems immature and can’t handle criticism and tough situations. He is still young though and if he can mature out of that I think he’s a superstar

I’m going a little more hypothetical here. First move is firing this coaching staff on black Monday and keeping Ryan Poles. Over the offseason hire a HC either with experience (like Harbaugh) or someone that can truly act like the CEO type but is still smart enough to contribute to all facets of the game, not just an offensive/defensive guru. Then let the HC decide what they want to do at the QB position after evaluating all QB prospects.
I think in the end we’ll cheap out on the HC hire and draft Caleb William with the first pick, and he won’t be able to handle the Chicago media pressure even though he’s supremely talented. If for some weird reason we retain Flus then we have to keep fields and stop the lame duck HC/qb carousel we’re used to.

I would too but they’re currently starting a qb that’s been ruled out for the season…

Thanks! This is the big week for me, next week I play someone that’s 0-12. I’m optimistic Kyren will have another big week
popcornheadlines 10 months ago • 100%
I need to win out win the next two weeks to even have a chance at the playoffs. I was lucky enough to pickup Karen Williams off the waiver wire a couple weeks ago. I benched Ferguson this week already so hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite me

That was one of the only bears games I didn’t watch this year 😂😂. Having Moore on my fantasy team was nice that week though
popcornheadlines 10 months ago • 100%
Seems like a terrible situation overall. Coaches were overruled by ownership (rarely a good sign), a talent bereft team, and a rookie qb. On top of that, they don’t even have their 1st round pick next year.

He can definitely top DJ Moore’s 230 yard 3 TD game

Also, if the bears had run the ball it would give the Vikings a chance at forcing a fumble. The bears were already well within field goal range so there was no reason to risk a turnover

This might be worse than the Denver collapse. Its time to clean house coaching wise

Yeah Steelers fans are expecting to be a dominant offence now, but Pickett has been horrendous for the whole season. You can even make a case that Tommy Devito is a better QB than him

Just need a good center and I think this line could be borderline elite

Yeah. A lot of the players they've signed have earned a lot of money in their career. Its not like they're taking people out of poverty and giving them money. These players are already multi-millionaires and are just selling their soul for a couple extra million

Such a sad move for a newcastle cult hero
popcornheadlines 1 year ago • 100%
No, not for the price they paid. I think hes talented for sure but I still think Chelsea is a mess. Theyll have a lot of roster turnover in 2 years and increased pressure after such a failure of a season. I think hell show flashes but will overall still be part of the mess that is Chelsea's squad
Thoughts on this? I think it is pretty neat and can give back to the community

Apparently he is going on loan immediately, so why not just stay at PSV for another year?
popcornheadlines 1 year ago • 100%
Yeah USL2 isnt included in this, but there is going to be another division between USL1 and USLC probably consisting of teams from both the divisions. Maybe Ballard and a couple other USL2 teams will move up to make the third division, but that depends on if they meet the financial and stadium requirements

A team I support did exactly this and it was quite successful. I believe it was $60-$70 for the whole season and included ALL home games (League, cup, and Europe) with replays posted on the same day. For me, it was worth it but I watch almost all their games
