I think MS talked about how they handle detection. And it isn't based on Geolocation, but the choosen install language/region. If you choose one where the DMA applies, you will get the DMA options. For english speakers there should be a Euope (English) install option.

Yeah, I have my lower age cutoff at like 26 because of this and have no issues going up to 32. I am just not up for childish shit in a relationship and hearing some stories from other dudes what happened in their younger relationships, I might not have skipped the worst time.

Natürlcih spielt das eine Rolle, aber der Algorythmus serviert dir halt den Dreck. Natürlich ist der mit Schuld. Der Rechte Müll sollte generell nicht gepusht werden. Anstelle davon werden Mänbner als Zielgruppe für diese Art von content gesehen und der Kram wird, selbst bei Linker ausrichtung, dort hin gepusht. Fast nichts hat einen "single root of evil". Dadurch landen bei mir im Shorts feed des öfteren mal hart rechte Sachen wie Andrew Tate und AfD Propaganda. Obwohl ich mit dem kram nix zu tun hab. Witzigerweise oftmals nach "Nazis raus" videos.

Dadurch wirst du direkt mal in eine Richtung gesendet. Und die ist halt echt nicht ohne. Oftmals wird dort die Linke Seite als komplett Männerfeindlich runtergezogen. Es werden clips von Frauen mit extrem sexistischen ansichten gezeigt und dann wird darauf halt "reagiert". Und dann wird dir danach gesagt "Komm zu uns, bei uns bist du was wert". Das ist RICHTIG gut funktionierende Propaganda, wenn du halt noch recht frisch irgendwo bist.

Leider kann die linke Seite aktuell diesen Trieb etwas verstärken, da in den Staaten wohl der "Gender War" ausgebrochen ist, welcher sich jetzt natürlich schön übers ganze internet verbreitet. Die (teilweise leider normalisierten) Beleidigungen in beide Richtungen zeigen jetzt nicht grade ein Geschlossenes Bild nach außen, sondern eher innere Grabenkämpfe. Und davon können die Rechten richtig schön profitieren. Denn da ein paar Ecken raussuchen und wie oben geschrieben darauf "reagieren" kann ohne große Arbeit die Männer locker nach rechts ziehen.

Gebrauchtwagenkauf würde mir eingetlich nur bei den Preisgrenzen einfallen. Da wird oft einfach Bar gegen Auto getauscht. Meist da die alternative eine Überweisung mit der Laufzeit von etwa einem Werktag ist.

You should still reboot your Linux server regularly. While the updates can run in place, running processes will not pick up the changes until restarted. And when you update the kernel you also need to reboot the system to pick it up. While there are distributions out there that have systems in place to auto restart affected services and can upgrade kernels in place (e.g. Ubuntu with the right licence), it is still recommended to reboot every now and then. My server is set up to reboot once a month and after every kernel update.

Ich habe mein Studium zu 100% mit einer 20h Stelle Finanziert. Ich bin dabei in meiner Ausbildungsfirma geblieben, konnte also einen höheren Satz als Standard-Studentensatz aushandeln. Das war mein Glück.

Aber Arbeiten und Studieren empfand ich jetzt nicht als die Hölle. Ich hatte feste Arbeitszeiten neben dem Studium und könnte keine Stunde zu oder abbuchen. Das hat die Klausurphase schwierig gemacht. Aber wirklich überlastet oder gestresst habe ich mich nie gefühlt. Bachelor in Regelstudienzeit gemacht. Master wäre ein Semester drüber gewesen für die Thesis, aber dort musste ich auch 2 Fächer nachholen. Leider war das Thesis Semester aber WS19/20. Da hätte mich Corona dann komplett aus der Bahn geworfen und ich habe die Thesis erst letztes Jahr gemacht.

Aber insgesamt: Arbeiten und Studieren finde ich ganz gut zusammen.

If a website has a German version, try using that. By law every web page here must have an (pretty much) directly findable button to cancel your account. Even when you are logged out. It normally is positioned in the footer of the page. Search for "kündigen" on the page and fill in the form.

Note that not all pages still do this. But normally even just threatening to sue should add it, as they really wouldn't be able to go against this in court. Tho crunchyroll does not seem to have this. Maybe I should create an account and do some trolling.

The part that is shared with cars is, yes. Still doesn't mean that it should be shit. This problem is there because it does suck. The US is a stand out in regards to non-car safety in a bad way. Trying to blame it on cars only is stupid. Demand better infrastructure, not even more bloat on cars.

As much as I like the anti-car think, this really shouldn't be blamed completely on cars. Especially in the US, pedestrian infrastructure in general is lacking. This includes thinks like sidewalks, but also proper lighting at places where people could be (See the sample image of a petrol station in the article, why are there no lights there?).

Additionaly, a lot of people dress dark with no reflection surfaces whatsoever (And some ciclelysts are insane enough to go without light at night). Try wearing stuff with some build-in reflectors at night. It does not need to be an ugly big yellow patch for that. I own a backpack with nicely worked in reflectory surfaces which makes me highly visible at night.

Ofc there is also a component to the Cars and drivers here, but if thermal cameras are the first solution someone can come up with, maybe the start needs to be somewhere else.

Overall: If I can see someone jaywalking on the autobahn about 800m in front of me while going 180kph and can react to that, the cities and villages in the US should probably have something similar in lighting and overall road elsetup.
