Jösses! De är verkligen öppna med att det är vi användare som är till salu, och att det är annonsörerna som är de viktiga! Jag skulle gissa att det här är varför de inte kan ha några tredjeparts-appar. Reddit skulle hela tiden få frågor från sina kunder, om hur det blir med produkter (vi användare) som riskerar att vara otillgängliga för exponering. Reddit behöver ha total kontroll.

Ok, inte vårt proudest moment kanske. Och tyvärr kommer väl inte isen lägga sig i Öresund igen, med tanke på klimatet. Så vi får kanske nöja oss så länge!

Förlåt oss om vi var högljudda! Vi firade bara 500 år sedan vi valde en egen kung efter Kalmarunionen. Vi firade att Göteborg är 400 år. Och att vår kung suttit 50 år på tronen. Det blev visst en lite vild fest!

This seems likely, because I also read that you can’t go directly via link through your own instance, unless your instance already “knows” about the community.

Yeah, but that one only shows local communities AFAIK. I also find it a bit of a hassle if I see a recommendation for a community on another instance, and want to subscribe.

Förr fanns det ju olika forum på internet som klarade sig rätt bra, för olika specialintressen. Tänker på forum av typen phpBB och liknande. Visst en del hade lite reklam och så, men många gick runt ändå. Och med hur lätt det blivit att donera tror jag att det kommer att gå lättare nu.
