He started playing the violin at 5. At 13, he received a scholarship to the Peabody Institute of Baltimore. At 15, he received a scholarship to the Julliard School of Music in New York. At 21, he led his own orchestra. But his most cherished accomplishment was his invitation to be guest soloist with the New York Symphony Orchestra at Carnegie Hall.
