Apologies for the broken link. Yes the portion regarding law enforcement is the most exciting part of this. I'm just happy someone out there is trying. But hey who says the government will even follow the laws if something like this is passed. Additionally this law will work on the state level but not the federal level.

In rare positive news Massachusetts is weighing banning the sale of user location data. Do you feel like this will make a difference if it gets passed? EDIT: Fixed Link

I like them, i use debian so for programs where i want the latest version while still maintaining my stable debian base i just install the flatpak. Best of both worlds to me. Additionally theres some software thats just packaged better in a flatpak like logseq. I do however try to use flatpaks as little as possible, native apps are always quicker but this may change one day.

I was using my wife's boyfriend's gaming PC to play farmville when I came to the conclusion that since windows implemented the WSL it is officially the best Linux distro. No other distro has better software availability and driver support. Any thoughts?
