Monetization is cool until one remembers this is never a meritocracy and the money will go to the people with the best business plan, not the best content
Hi, suddenly it started doing this, I'm not sure if this is on my side but I haven't changed anything. It does this in desktop mode but I haven't tried an actual desktop

AI incest?
hi, I have had to use windows for a long time because of school (word and excel, the ms version, was like mandatory, tho free), and I have been interested in trying or at least learning linux more. I tried once before on Manjaro but I messed up the install and I was having annoying issues with the graphics drivers with an nvidia card (having to manually change the settings for two monitors and the refresh rate every time i rebooted, for instance). That was around 4 years ago now though. My main question was what distro I should try? I am fairly experienced so I know my way around things but not in linux, and I am okay with learning curves. It seems like everyone has a different answer for this so I wanted to hear suggestions. Thank you

I was gonna put money into their IPO too, my whole life savings of $20. Now it is clear they are a few disasters waiting to happen

Though I feel like it is a lot less replayable compared to binding or hades. I got around 20 hours before I ran out of stuff to do and the upgrades simply do not make the game as silly as binding.
Still a very cute, lovely game though

I'll be honest I thought this was about the game and got confused, I didn't know this was a coding language

Hi, I have been looking for some slightly lower traffic places to chill at and learning about lemmy and similar communities has been neat :) about 10 days ago I saw someone post about it as a reddit alternative, and I said I was surprised no one had set up a furry one yet. But here it is now connected just a few days after that!! I am not 100% sure how this whole subcommunities of subcommunities works but it doesn't seem that complicated. I haven't been very social the past year while recovering out of some things in my life so I am making a concerted effort to be more social. Feel free to dm me if anyone wants to talk! Hopefully I don't just post a few times and then completely forget about it! My name is foxy (she/her) and I am a fox fox fox fox fox fox

You should look up some of the controversy with userbenchmark. The owner is a competitive shooter player so he favors single thread performance over basically everything. When he got called out by some big tech channels he had a tantrum and made pages on the site dedicated to trying to talk shit about them, linked right in the about page.
It's actually really funny.
