Ah smart. I fixed the issue by sorting out duplicate post ids before displaying my list of posts

I had no idea that Nvidia was working on a foss driver. I wonder how it daily drives now?
Slated 1 year ago • 85%
It's the default on lemmy. I guess allowing the user to change it would be fine but there is a reason for it
Is anyone else getting an error where duplicate posts are recieved on different pages with the getPosts function in the api? It seems to mostly happen with the subscribed viewtype

Sweet! Thanks this is a great use case. This could probably be pretty easily be built into the ui

How does the pine phone pro perform? I've been thinking about buying one but I don't know if it's worth it. Are the ui gestures smooth and is the experience generally on par with "normal" phones out now

Man this is beautiful! I can't believe that's XFCE!

God those quotes in the beginning made me mad. I'm glad that the article addresses them.
I cited email as an example yesterday of big companies running big instances and not extinguishing the openness that made the platform great Really! You go and try and use an email provider that isn't the big three or four. People will laugh, you won't be able to send email without it going directly to spam, and eventually you'll go right back to the mega corps that "promise safety"

Hi! Yes the software is fully libre FOSS I believe that nonfree (free as in freedom) clients for services like lemmy, mastodon, etc go against the very principle that the services stand for. The source is hosted on gitlab. You can find the link to contribute on the sidebar as well as here. At the moment there are no plans to support Kbin as I want to get lemmy working fully before moving on to other services. Depending on how hard it is to implement it could be on the path forward.

Hmm yeah that always bugged me too. The whole thing was just not a very satisfying resolution...

Much better in my opinion. I mean it could be better but at least its not the punch in the face that comes out of nowhere like the normal one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5toL5HmQl8I Instead of destroying everything Ted has worked and resetting his character development for nothing it's a happy ending. I guess I should say spoilers but cmon its a show from 2005

Haha that seems to be a very common thread with How I Met Your Mother fans. I cannot stand the ending it just makes me so mad. I have the dvd release though so it has the alternate ending

Oh! and How I Met Your Mother. I love that show. I don't ever watch s9 though. It made me so made when it aired

Yep. Frasier and Seinfeld. Two greats but very different shows

I can't think of a game however I do know that aesprite is open source and also sells on steam. The incentive to buy it on steam is you don't have to compile it yourself. It does fairly well on steam too so it certainly can be done

May I ask how this is going to show up on lemmy? It’s going to be from a bot correct?
Slated 1 year ago • 100%
Oh strange I would assume you would want to either include the id or the username, whatever the documentation asks for. You can also always just use the GetSite endpoint and GetSiteResponse.my_user

Very cool either way. I've been using mastodon for a while before lemmy. I always appreciate new clients

Looks cool, are you the developer? Either way I'll probably give it a try

Right! It brings me right back to OSX Leopard and the good old days of computing

You’ll want to save the JWT and then use it as the auth parameter for GetPersonDetails

Oh nice! Frasier is one of my favorite shows. I've also probably see it well over 100 times over lol. It just never seems to get old

Woah that's crazy! A while back I watched every single task master I could find on youtube. I liked it up until the last couple seasons where I felt it became too scripted... I've never met someone else who's seen it

I've never actually watched futurama. I've seen it a few times at my friends house but never payed it much attention
I’m on a Seinfeld kick. It’s my show I just keep coming back to

Morpha is cross platform! It’s not the priority however I’m still supporting Android

I actually haven’t found this to be true. And since it uses react native all the ui gets reskinned to be native android. It’s also always up to the user if they want to use it
Slated 1 year ago • 100%
Yeah of course! When I started it I didn't know about the other apps (and I'm pretty sure it was started before some of the others). There's also some design philosophies I don't agree with some of the other apps. Jerboa and Mlem while both good options are limited to Android and iOS respectively. I didn't want to be pigeonholed into an ecosystem like that. As for the other open source cross platform react native app Memmy, I didn't care for the design or the choice of using redux as the state manager. I'm not discounting either of these apps at all. I think all of them have the potential to be great. I also just enjoy the process of getting everything up and running!

Hmm that's a good point, however the article you linked said that they are unlikely to be lethal even if probably unsafe for part of the population. It is essentially an energy drink and should be seen as such
Slated 1 year ago • 100%
Eh the charged lemonade issue isn't all that big I would say. 30 oz of liquid is a lot and 400 mg of caffeine is only like 2 energy drinks which. The warning part is misleading though I agree. I drank quite a few of them before I realized they were caffeinated. They should be way more transparent about what's in their drinks
I'd have to go with the stereotypical spring of 77 but spring 90 is also a huge contender.
Testing comments, posts, upvotes, and anything else I need to test without bothering the rest of the lemmy-sphere
I love mine and use it almost all the time. Its a Surfans f20 with rockbox native installed. Makes it feel like I'm using my old ipod lol
Thank god they're in their Jam era. I'll be bumping this at work today
Nothing like this era of the dead. They were really on fire
