I only ever used Usenet back in the day when my college threatened to shut off my internet if there was any more p2p traffic.

Weird. I was only trying the mobile website without a kbin account. Another example :/

Maybe one just needs a kbin account to view the search results?

I was actually trying to see if my own community was visible on other fediverse services. https://lemmy.world/c/xphiles
But even other communities with a higher subscriber count do not show in the kbin search.
I see many lemmy.ml results, though with population statistics that seem out of date.

Still no. Search on kbin @lemmyworldcommunity@Lemmy.world
Yields empty result

I've searched for Lemmy world communities on kbin and came up dry. There's a problem of communication between the sites.

The bottom of this EPA Document says that following the lifetimeimita of benzene exposure will result in a likelihood of developing cancer at 1 in a million chances.
The article didn't mention exposure limits, but I would think that stovetop production of benzene is far less than industrial sources of exposure such as the oil industry or on tankers, that the federal limits were created for.

Yep. On plebbit you were able to actively hide certain posts. I would like posts to remain available on communities I car about.

Even while lit, e-ink appears different than a backlit screen. Being front lit, it does still mimic a book being lit by a light. Eye fatigue is a big talking point when considering backlit vs frontlit displays.

Whats it called when you give money away with no return? In this case, the loan is re-payed when they allow you to download the game you bought months prior.

It's the same thing with multiple instances now. The stronger and more popular will inevitably survive. I'm putting my eggs in the Lemmy basket, but other alternatives might end up being better. And if that is realized, then I fully intend to switch again.

To add to this, are all govts across the world able to stay quiet about this?
I'm reminded of Lilo and Stitch, where the spacecraft can land anywhere in the world, and it chooses one of the smallest and secluded parts of the USA as it's destination.
Does anyone have any recommendations for material discussing Atlantis, or similar "lost" civilizations? I know of [Atlantis by Donnely](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantis:_The_Antediluvian_World). And, The Story of Atlantis by [W. Scott Elliot](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Scott-Elliot) though I haven't personally read this one. In the same vein, do you have any favorite video channels that discuss these topics? I know of MrMythos on YT and his series discussing Atlantis as well as Inner Earth.
