I disagree. The trouble with cluster bombs (as with landmines) is that they are indiscriminate killers. Sure, they may kill some Russian soldiers now, but the ones that don't explode (a huge minority of them) will remain in the ground until an innocent Ukrainian child gets blown up years from now.
It's fine to cheer on the 'killing Russian soldiers' part, but when it comes to cluster bombs that comes hand in hand with 'killing innocent civilians, years after the conflict ends', which is less okay.

Those things being evil does not make cluster bombs less evil.

It is fascinating how personal biases shape our communications and beliefs.

...in your opinion. As per your link, the IAEA does not share your certainty.

Grossi asserted that he "didn't see that kind of development" on the ground, but also that "anything can happen, that is what worries me".
IAEA is not confirming it, but I think it's a stretch to get "pure deranged nonsense" from that quote.

If it becomes a problem then sure.
/r/UnresolvedMysteries had a lot of rules because it was a big sub and needed to maintain the quality of its content. This is a very small, very new community so I'm inclined to let "anything go" (within reason) for now and the more restrictive rules can come if and when the community grows.

I would say at this point you can post whatever you like, as long as it's on-topic and is intended to inspire a discussion. There's so little content here that there's no point in restricting what you can post.

I don't see it as a bad thing if the right-wing vote splits between the Tories and a new party.

Boxes and boxes of them!
I had it in mind that this wasn't just about a few files here and there although I was a bit vague about how many he was accused of taking. Those pictures are shocking, though - they go on and on and on.

It's scary how someone can just ... disappear like that, in broad daylight in a big city, surrounded by people. I have hopes that sometime, somehow we will learn what happened to Andrew, although unlike others I have no hope of him still being alive.
I'm glad that at least one other has found their way here! I will post some more cases that interest me over the next few days.
>Andrew Gosden disappeared from Central London on 14 September 2007 when he was aged 14. On that day, Gosden left his home in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, withdrew £200 from his bank account and bought a one-way ticket to London from Doncaster station. He was last seen on CCTV leaving King's Cross station. Despite numerous national appeals for information in the years following his disappearance, Gosden's reason for travelling to London that day, and his subsequent fate, have not been established. Andrew's case is one of the cases I follow most closely. I'm very intrigued as to when we might hear more details about the December 2021 arrests and investigation. What are your thoughts on what happened to Andrew?

Whenever Reddit execs have made the news over the past decade or so, the clear impression I've had is that they are just a bunch of immature highschoolers who are in way over their depth.

There used to be a browser extension that would overwrite all your comments with a null value and then delete them. No idea if it's still running though and I forget what it's called so not much help!
I don't really follow Scottish football but he seems to have done well at Celtic. Will be interesting to see how he adapts to Spurs.

Crazy that he's been there 14 years. As OP says, end of an era. Apparently he's off to Saudi Arabia too...

That's about not allowing nsfw content through the API though - different to banning nsfw subreddits.

One can only hope. IMO the idea that any book can be banned shouldn't exist in a free society.

What are your account settings set to? Mine are set to subscribed/new as default, but Jerboa shows up as local/active by default and likewise I can't see an obvious way to change it. Quite annoying if it's not possible to change the default.
