Comment from my ani.social for that eventuality.

No shit. Only reason I bring it up is as a way to illustrate how badly I do not want this.
What a world we live in, when there's a possibility my use of a private matrix server between family, might become criminal.

Obviously. The point is that it's the kind of thing that will make me reject the very society I'm living in, and I would change it wholly to avoid this.
If the source was my own government, for the first time in my life, I'd be considering moving to a new country.

This. There are already plans on expanding what the surveillance is used for, as soon as it is possible to begin with.
"Think of the children" is just the trick they're using to get their foot in the door. It being utterly ineffective in doing what they claim it'll do, is irrelevant.

This is a level of bullshit that will straight up make me vote to leave the EU.
Outlawing E2EE should just not be a thing. It just shouldn't.

Please use cross posts to make posts to multiple communities. Linking to another post doesn't work quite right yet, but crossposts do.
If your app doesn't support crossposts yet, you can link posts together manually, simply by entering the exact same link in the URL field. Edit your first post, copy its url (the content url, not the post url), and paste it into the url field of a post to another community, and they will get detected as the same post.
Post body content doesn't matter, you can include a post link to the original there, etc.

And it's a show that respects introverts. So many slice of life series revolve around "fixing" a lonely character by them gaining a huge group of friends.
In Yuru Camp, the loner character is still a loner at the end of season 2. Rin is friends with the rest of the cast, but prefers spending most of her time alone, and the show never presents that as a bad thing. It's so refreshing!

I haven't watched that one, but for quality slice of life, Yuru Camp, Mitsuboshi Colors, Sakura Quest, New Game, Machikado Mazoku and A Place Further than the Universe, come to mind off the top of my head.
If the workplace setting is your thing, maybe start with Sakura Quest or New Game?

They are all absolute bangers.
Voracity is my favourite. Not because of some special reason, but I watched S3 with a friend and the OP got us both PUMPED for the new season in a way watching it solo until then wasn't able to.

My favorite is Thunder. But then I'm probably biased considering I'm on the dev team.
Cross-post de-duplication will come eventually, but right now, the dart API library (also used by liftoff) doesn't have cross post related stuff implemented yet.

What are you using to browse? The default webUI de-duplicates cross-posts, most apps do not yet.

Like for real!! I was a semi-lurker on reddit. Posted a couple times a year.
I just passed 500 posts on Lemmy.

"working towards something better is pointless, everything is shit anyway"
Hey, switching to a less shit shitty option, is still an improvement.
If the only way you're willing to accept improvement, is by fixing it all at once or nothing at all, you'll never solve anything.

TFW a wifi transfer literally loads files from your phone faster than a fucking cable.
