Hello, this is Project Moon. We would like to inform you about the causes and resolutions of the issues identified in the regular update (version 1.57.0) on September 19th. These issues will be addressed in a future regular update, and we will notify you of the details through the patch notes at that time. 1. Issue: Infinite Turn Loop in Chapter 5 Mid-Boss Battle under Specific Conditions Cause: This occurred as a side effect of implementing a new system in this update. It happens when a specific enemy dies due to effects like "Burn" at the end of a turn after using "Assist Defense". Solution: We have resolved this issue by adjusting the logic in the pattern of that stage. 2. Issue: Repeated Activation of Lobotomy E.G.O. :: Lantern Don Quixote's Skill 3 Coin Reuse Effect Cause: This side effect occurred due to insufficient handling of the reuse logic during the implementation of a new system in this update. Solution: We identified the problematic reuse logic and corrected it. 3. Issue: Battle Proceeds During EGO Use UI Interaction by Using Hotkeys Cause: This issue occurs because the system recognizes both mouse and hotkey inputs simultaneously. It was found to have occurred after the introduction of the hotkey system. Solution: We have modified the logic to prevent hotkey inputs from being processed while interacting with the UI using the mouse. 4. Issue: Game Becomes Unresponsive When Two or More Characters Defend an Area Attack After Evading Cause: There was a problem in the logic execution of the existing system, and it appears that this issue has persisted in previous updates. It occurs when two or more characters, capable of reusing their evasion skills after a successful defense, are targeted by an Area attack. Solution: We have resolved this issue by adjusting the problematic evasion skill reuse logic. We will track and share the history of new system implementations to ensure that side effects do not occur and will clearly define the scope of our testing. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during gameplay. [September 19th Scheduled Update Error Compensation] - Compensation : Lunacy x300 - Recipients : All users who have created their game accounts before Sep. 26th, 2024 10:00 - When : After Sep. 19th (THU), 2024 22:30 (KST) - Can be claimed once per account Error Compensation can be claimed until Sep. 26th (Thu) 2024, 10:00 (KST) via the in-game Mailbox. We have identified an issue where, in the Mirror Dungeon, replacing a Skill of an Identity causes the game to crash. ※ As an emergency measure, we have temporarily disabled the Skill Replacement function by forcing it to be “SOLD OUT”. If you are currently within a Skill Replacement UI, any control may cause the game to crash; please restart the game. Cause - As per the UI structure adjustment, we made a unilateral adjustment in the code to universally apply the changes universally. - However, because the Skill Replacement UI in the Mirror Dungeon uses a separate, duplicated version of the UI, the changes did not apply to that specific UI. Solution - We have identified the Mirror Dungeon Skill Replacement duplicate UI and made corrections accordingly. - Because this requires a Client Build, however, a full correction will be deployed with our next Scheduled Update. Future Measures - We intend to no longer use any duplicates of UI if they share similar formats so that they won’t slip through universal changes like these. Also, we are in the process of identifying and analyzing all issues that have occurred after today’s Sep. 19th Scheduled Update. We will inform you via an additional notice as soon as we identify them. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

We would like to inform you the cause and our measure to fix the softlocking issue that occurred after Sep. 12th Scheduled Update. [Cause] We added a new combat system logic to the game for a new functionality of our upcoming Identity(Devyat’ North Rodion). As we were making UI adjustments to the combat view, we neglected to include the specific logic for Panicked characters. This caused an issue where the dashboard would become unresponsive in the Chaining phase, softlocking the game. [Solution] We have identified where the logic error occurred, and we are currently investigating our work history to make a precise fix for its causes. When preparing for a new combat mechanic in upcoming materials, we will now make sure to separate the new logic from preexisting logic so that no softlocking issues can occur again due to similar causes. We are preparing to deploy a new Client version(1.56.2) with fixes for the above issues. The fix will be deployed to the STEAM platform as soon as the build is complete. Because iOS and Android platforms require a review period, please understand that they will be deployed at a later time than the STEAM platform.     Agreed. When I saw the timing of the new Canto I thought to myself that doing an April Fools right in the middle of that would be awkward on all levels, and while last year's joke was without exaggeration the most fun I ever had with an April Fools I'm glad that Project Moon decided to not spread themselves thin nor break the mood they've worked to set up.

    In this specific case the community owner posted good guidelines before disappearing so we have that at least, but I'd appreciate being able to change the pinned message for example (current one is outdated), and the other community I adopted got a totally random troll post once so I now consider that these can pop absolutely anywhere at any time =')

    Hello, does anyone know if it's possible to moderate a magazine hosted on kbin with a lemmy account? I've been taking care of a magazine hosted here for months and the owner is MIA as far as I can tell (I tried messaging them to no avail), but the adoption feature mentioned here doesn't appear for me from the lemmy side. Given how lemmy and kbin are compatible-yet-different, I'd understand if the moderation features can't cross over, but for now I just don't know so here I am =) Thanks for reading!

    Yes and no. There are tons of good stuff on Mastodon, but this specific fanart got taken down by the artist today. I'm heartbroken, it was really beautiful ='(

    I'm personally in favour of defederating from/blocking everything owned/operated by Meta.
