Yes I 3d printed a skull in resin and mounted it to the plywood board.
Painted with acrylics for a local fundraiser. Inspired by @a.man.painting.miniatures on Instagram.

This is the way. One additional step I do for enterprise software is test driven development. That way when you refactor your code into something better, you still have tests in place to verify that the code actually works.

Ya several of the Forged in the Dark games change the way these mechanics work. They're great fun still.

Combat felt a bit clunky until we starred treating it more as roleplay and less as "DND combat." Overall, the mechanics encouraged interparty role play which was sooo much fun. I'd highly recommend it

Ive run a few gumshoe games. They are great, but did require a lot of planning on my part.

Ty, thats my favorite part!
My latest piece. I really struggled with all the rock, but I like how the bottom right turned out. I'm excited to do more glassy water.
You were all very kind about my camel and asked me to share some older stuff. I learned a lot with this piece and there are a lot of things I'd change if I went back but I still like how it came out.

After the main values were blocked in I erased lines with erasers. Then just back and forth between adding charcoal and erasing to get the right values/textures.

Sure I'll post some other drawings eventally. I use a kneeded eraser, an abrasive eraser, a compressed and soft charcoal and a blending stick.

This is my fifth charcoal drawing so far. I disliked the medium at first but I'm starting to enjoy it more and more 😄.

It takes a while to get to know the tools and paints, so don't be too hard on yourself. Most people have difficulty picking colors when first starting. That said here are a few tips:
- color theory is going to be your friend. Read an article or watch a video on it. When starting out and owning fewer paints you can mix colors to get the color you want. For example, mix blue + yellow to get green. Mix Red + Purple to get magenta.
- look up a picture of a color wheel, and the idea of complementary, analogous etc colors. This can help you pick colors that work well together.
- look at art or miniatures that you like the look of and steal/copy from them. This will let you focus on the execution without worrying if the idea is good
- make mistakes! I still pick bad colors or mess up after 9 years. Try not to get discouraged from failure.
Lastly, not all projects need to be finished to the same standard. Don't be afraid to put something aside you're just not having fun with.

Started the year off GMing the Gumshoe Yellow King RPG. It definitely takes more prep than other games I'm used to but is thematic and a great horror experience.
Our group then switched to the Avatar RPG, which has been an absolute blast. I've been playing a firebender in the Aang era. We're currently on our second season.
In between the Avatar game when scheduling falls through I've been GMing Blades in the Dark, which has been one of the most rewarding and exciting games I've played.
Our group mostly plays weekly and we've been together for 6ish years mostly playing D&D.

My parents would always buy my an ornament related to my interests for Christmas. I was really into LoTR and my mom couldn't find an ornament so she decided to make one herself. She purchased a metal Nazgul on horse from GW. I was enthralled by the miniature, and my wargaming hobby was started.

My friends and I have been jamming 4p co-op and have been having a blast. There are definitely some bugs we've encountered around having multiple conversations going at once but nothing major. I highly recommend it.
Found a used only model shop near my house recently and I couldn't leave without buying! So now my friend will get to add two Devilfish to their army.
I did this a while back but it's one of my favorite ones.
