Like the only way I see currency working is if a whole community is having a difficult time finding a different logistics framework that distributes the resources more equitably
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
I mean yes that would be ideal, and I think it's possible, it would just take a LOT of discussion and debate to actually get it up and running. Plus the issue of who is running the system itself to make sure we aren't creating any hierarchies in the process.

I mean imo it depends on the area. In an ideal world I think each community would discuss and decide for themselves which democratic models works best based on their local material conditions
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
I thought most anarchist models were based on confederation rather than federation? Or is that what you meant and I'm being pedantic?
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
Yeah and ideally if it could be used short term instead of as a permanent fixture in society.
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
I mean it depends on the context. Like getting rid of intellectual property while capitalism is still in full swing would really only screw over the small time artists, but in an ideal society it would be abolished.
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
Same, although I think money can potentially work in some limited circumstances, but that any currency should be extremely localized.
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
How do you reconcile that with the inherent decentralized nature of anarchism?
I wanna see some radical takes.
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
Anarchist here. Ideally we would reach Anarcho communism, but honestly at this point I'd just settle for a voluntarist society lol.
Anarcho_Mandalorian 1 year ago • 100%
Nice philosophy. The only real point I would nitpick on in a debate is what exactly you mean by a centrally planned economy.
