Most of the time I'm able to find the games I want, but now that I can finally afford a Vita and will be ordering one at the end of the month and homebrewing it, I realize I don't have any games except for PSP and PS1. The sites I know of that are safe don't seem to carry them. Not even nyaa outside of a couple of random things. So help?

I don't really want to use 11 until I must, but I'll keep this in mind.
Bleh, haven't been here in a while. So I have a Windows 10 PC that I use for gaming and a Fedora laptop I use for everything else. I simply cannot go back to not having tabs. I don't understand why Windows doesn't have them by default. So help me out here.

I don't fully understand how silverblue and kinoite are different, but I feel this way with base Fedora KDE. I've never broken it even a little bit when that used to be common with Ubuntu based distros for whatever reason.

It's very walkable. I can get to most places easily or just take a stroll around the neighborhood.

Pokemon TCG Online had trading, but they replaced it with TCG Live, that doesn't and is generally a worse product.

Thank you very much for this.

That's awesome. Are you planning on giving it out publicly?
I'm not a programmer so I don't know how easily this could be done or how it'll work, but I had this idea while trying to manually move all my current lemmy.ml subscribed communities to my new instance.

I had the exact opposite problem, where I caught covid so early (back in January 2020) that they were still calling it bronchitis.
My mom, on the other hand, had a situation similar to you, and it hit her HARD. She still has long covid symptoms where she gets extreme fatigue and a weird taste in her mouth.

Thanks. Torkoal was the one that took the longest to find, by a lot. About 20 sandwiches and 3 Rolycolys to be precise.

The CD thing sounds interesting. Are there any specific storefronts you get them from?

I sort my stuff by hard drives, splitting them up by music, animated shows and movies, and live action shows and movies.

I consider myself a rookie audiophile. I must have my music files in flac format and they must be directly on my hard drive. I buy a bit of stuff from bandcamp and qobuz, but for my methods, there's a few routes I can take to get the majority through piracy.
The one I've chosen is called slav art, and it basically rips directly from streaming services and zips it in a downloadable file. It used to be on discord but got chased away, and it used to be on matrix after that but left there too for some reason. Now it's on its own revolt instance.
I'm actually quite pleased with how they turned out. Akihiko is the weirdest one but I can probably get used to him.

My main one is on lemmy.ml and I'll admit it was just the first one I saw. My second one is on lemmy.blahaj.zone in case something happens to the dev instance.
I never really hear about this in particular. Are there streaming sites that have it? Torrents?

I'm not as technically intelligent as most of the people here and so I want to ask, how would this even work in practice?

Hmm, yeah, I think I'm fine with the Cowboy Bebop opening.

If something's important enough, I end up hearing it through people on discord. I don't actively look for news.

Fedora KDE spin. I dunno how to feel about the recent announcement but from what I know, it shouldn't affect Fedora itself.

It's nice to know I'm not alone. I really like Tears of the Kingdom but can barely play it. I thought it perhaps had to do with depression but I'm just overwhelmed. (Though it might still partially be depression.)
Not only that, but I could never get into open world games outside of the Zelda series. I tried Skyrim so many times and put it down every time. There's just something about it that won't click with me even though I recognize it as being a good game.
I used to be an avid reader, but years of high school and depression completely ruined that. I haven't been able to complete a novel since senior year six years ago. It's frustrating to me and I want to know how I can overcome my lack of focus and anxiety. I've heard I'm not alone when it comes to this sort of thing at least. E: I wasn't expecting so many replies. Thank you, all of you, for the ideas.
I have a hard limit of $100 I can spend on quality headphones. I'm aware it'll never be as good at the wallet killers but surely it'd be better than my Bluetooth earbuds.

If it's still available, I'd like Yuppie Psycho.

I'm not entirely sure if it's a sellout or if they just wanted to try new things, but the Gorillaz rather infamously went from trip hop in phases 1 and 2 to more poppy sounding music in Plastic Beach, and it almost ruined them. I still like their newer albums for the most part but they were never the same.
For me, I have a lot of files so I use Pi Music Player (android) to play from storage. I also use spotify to try out new songs that aren't downloaded. I find it to be best at discoverability.

I wouldn't say "currently", but I used to use Infinity.

I don't really like Windows but it's for my gaming PC. My laptop does run linux. I don't know much of anything about 11 and whether it's better or not.

My current one, Fedora, since 36 had just released. I'll probably continue to use it as I wasn't as much of a distro hopper as most people anyway.
I heard this while listening to the song and now I can't unhear it. (Made this image on mobile in like 3 minutes.)

If you're fully into owning your music, you could buy from bandcamp going the legal route, or use slavart on things like deezer, tidal and qobuz. But the reason I'm mentioning these is because they're all great for discovery purposes while still physically having the file or even like a vinyl or something.

This changes every few days, but right now it's Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles. I wouldn't even call myself a fan of them but this song slaps.

Qobuz lets you buy digital music as well. It's a bit newer, has more mainstream stuff and a bit of a limited collection but you might want to check it out.

Not legally most of the time, but I do on occasion buy albums off of bandcamp. Otherwise it's torrents, direct downloads or website rippers.
I do not buy physically. I don't see a point to that when I can have a huge flac collection all in one hard drive.
AceLucario 1 year ago • 100%
I just recently bought a new mp3 player and I already have over 5300 songs on it, but that's only a fraction of what's on my hard drive. It's mostly video game soundtracks but I have regular albums in it too.

I actually don't typically read manga, but I'm writing this comment because I have two exceptions that hooked me somewhat. +Anima, and Oyasumi Punpun. I'm hoping these combined with webtoons will get me to read more.

Oh sweet. Infinity was what I personally used for reddit. Very underrated in my opinion.
I'm especially curious to know if you made your own instances or communities. But if not, what other notable things have you done? E: I guess I forgot to mention what I did, which was make a community and various posts. Considering making a full instance but I've never attempted something like that before.

I could listen to pretty much any music in the world (except country) but I find myself coming back to Shin Megami Tensei games lately. But especially Digital Devil Saga 1. I haven't even finished that game yet but the guitars are heavenly.

VA-11 HALL-A (not sure if I wrote that right) is a nice little cyberpunk visual novel that can run on a toaster and has a native linux version. It sort of falls in line with the choose your own adventure you mentioned because you can make some choices that affect certain things, but mostly, the game is about mixing drinks and changing lives.
I don't claim to know much about this but I guess it pulled a No Man's Sky and patched in everything that needed to be fixed or added. And it's half off on steam right now so I'm considering pulling the trigger. Should I?

I bought that game too because it was on sale. Maybe I'll flip flop between it and Hollow Knight.

Did not expect to see a Quest 64 fan here. I used to watch speedruns of the game.
I bought the game on a whim for the switch, but I feel ill prepared. I don't usually play heavy action games like this and I hear it's especially hard for what it is. But I want to try.
I can't afford my VPN this month. Normally I'd just grab stuff from nyaa but not this time. E:Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up going with 9anime and it's super clean.
Mine is definitely Virtue. I like most of the angels' designs but this is the best one.
