Panthers travel to Ford Field winless with a rookie QB to face a ferocious Detroit pass rush. Bryce Young has a respectable 65% completion percentage, but the good news stops there. With 503 total yards, 4.9 yards/attempt, and 2 TDs with 2 INTs those are rookie numbers. For comparison Goff is 91 of 132, 69.5%, 1029 yards, 7.8 yards/attempt, with 6 TDs against 3 INTs.

Last year the Lions visited Carolina and got run over. The Panthers racked up 320 yards rushing on their way to a 37-23 win over the Lions. That better not happen again, and based on how our front 7 has been crushing it lately, it should not happen. Meanwhile the Panthers defense is giving up 25.5 points per game, which isn't good enough to overcome an anemic offense.
