When will Lemmy support 2FA?

Obviously sms 2fa would be challenging to impliment. But I don't know how hard it would be for Lemmy to use app based 2FA. I would love it if Lemmy supported app based 2fa to enhance security.

Is there any plans down the line to implement 2fa?
