Persistent "Back to the top" and "Comment" button.

The new persistent "Back to the top" and "Comment" buttons are really annoying me... Is there a way to disable them?

Still, I think they're a useful feature, but they shouldn't always be visible... Maybe only on up-scroll? Some apps do that with navbars, for example. I think that would make the scrolling experience better, since the buttons would still be easily accessible without using up screen real-estate while scrolling.
